Also, Have I got news for you can be very funny if your dc is taking an interest in current affairs.

The Mighty Boosh is a bit bonkers!

Axx · 03/04/2024 18:05

Young Sheldon is excellent.

My favourite is it's only sunny in Philadelphia but lots of drugs etc in it.

I second derry girls! Perfect for that age range, it's hilarious!

BertieBotts · 04/04/2024 21:05

I found Spaced to be absolutely cringeworthy to watch with my teenager. You would have to be very cool with a lot of drug references.

Some of the old classics should work though - Blackadder, My Family, IT Crowd, Father Ted, Vicar of Dibley. Maybe Bottom/The Young Ones? Kevin and Perry?

Peep show is great but I think could be cringeworthy again. The Mighty Boosh I remember finding hilarious but it's definitely a step more surreal than the others. It won't be everyone's cup of tea.

Xylophonics · 04/04/2024 21:06

Spaced
The League of Gentlemen
Watched both of those years after they first came out.

BertieBotts · 04/04/2024 21:07

Oh yes, would I lie to you is great - panel shows in general can be really good.

Willmafrockfit · 04/04/2024 21:33

Tukto · 04/04/2024 21:37

It's a few years old but try Malcolm in the Middle.
My DSs used to love it and recently DS2 (26) told me he was rewatching it.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 04/04/2024 21:38

We’re enjoying watching Home Improvement at the moment. Never saw it when it was originally out.
