I've just watched that series, Tony is easy compared with Steve 😄

There seems to be a lot of ambling about aimlessly but Sharon snd Bridie seem to be the best at communicating with locals and getting information.

Tony was an annoying twat!

The wife obviously knows that Steven is a knob.

Isabelle is impressive!

We're loving this - faves are Brydie and her Mum and the brother and sister

Surprised the lads are doing so well, with no map and a double backing to Tokyo

Like the two mum-and-daughter teams best so far .

The train fares abroad (and reliability!) always shocks me

Loving both mother and daughter combos so far. Really love Sharon and Brydie's friendliness and respectfulness towards the Japanese people, especially the sandal ladies!
Not so keen on the lads scarfing food down on the street and the simmering tension between them, or on Steven quizzing everyone on how old they are. Feel as though he will become more annoying and embarrassing as time goes on.

This is already so much better than the Canada one. Stephen and the young guys could get annoying very quickly.

Never been to Japan , but what an amazing place.
Loved Isabelle and her mum so much. Trying to learn the language was inspiring.
Alfie was annoying , but they are both very young and did well to come 2nd.
I had no idea Japan was so big! On a map it looks deceiving

I dont get this. They all meander about,doing a day's paid work here and there,spending time relaxing in a spa....yet all arrive at the run within minutes of each other. Enjoyed the programme but so staged that it spoilt it a bit

It is staged a lot , but I can forgive that as I get to see places I won't see in real life
Someone must set up the jobs for them.
