Just seen my first advert that it's back!!!! Japan to Indonesia starting 10th April, brilliant, my absolute favourite!

I have higher hopes for across Asia

The Canada one was so dull. At least this series they'll have to deal with different currencies, languages (not just English and French) and dealing with the ways/ traditions of different countries

So looking forward to this - really want to go to Japan.

I'm hoping this will be as good as series 1 & 2 where we had language barriers , culture differences and several routes to get to next stage unlike Series 3 Canada which I liked only for showing me the vastness/difference of Canada .

The only thing looking briefly at the line up is there's Mothers/daughters- I guess we will hear lots about their "journey"

The Canada series was the first I saw, which I’m glad because I really enjoyed it, then went back and watched the older ones. Don’t think I’d have enjoyed it as much if I’d watched in order!

I've only managed to see the celeb version previously, excited to see the proper one. Need some travel porn after all this rain.

I enjoyed the Canada one because I'd been to a few of the places and ended up wanting to go to Newfoundland. (If that was where they ended up, not sure now)

Like others have said , I enjoyed the celebrity version though I had expected to hate it , and almost gave up on Canada.
It just felt very fake for some reason .
I’m hoping this will be more like the very first series, which is still my favourite .

Got back from an amazing holiday in Japan just 2 weeks ago so can’t wait to see where they go.

DS asked a question about currency tonight, how do they manage to change their money? Obviously it didn’t matter in Canada/Europe and I can’t remember what they did in S1&2.

They literally have to find an old fashioned 'bureau de change'
