So apparently there isn’t going to be any further seasons of Motherland which ties in with the BBCs decision to cut costs. I get cutting costs but for the love of god cut the shite programmes such as the One Show and they would be able to make more episodes of something that was worth watching.

Alex Jones is bloody awful so save the licence payers money on programmes which are actually worth the fee!

Why isn’t Motherland on iplayer at all? Can you only watch it on Netflix? I hope they put it back on BBC.

Good news. The first series of Motherland is being shown on BBC2 from this Thursday 10pm! Enjoy! I assume it will be going back on iplayer too.

Wonder when we’ll see Amandaland? I’m sure I read that it was due this Autumn when it was announced.

The stay at home dad was very inclusive. I liked that.

Just binge watched motherland recently. Absolutely brilliant. Gutted that the last Christmas final episode isn't available to watch anywhere. Hoping it comes back on to iPlayer eventually.

I saw Anna Maxwell Martin on the Underground a few weeks ago!

I’ve just watched The Afterparty from series 1, and I swear Kevin calls Amanda ‘Belinda’ when he bursts out that she’s been having threesomes with a squaddie!

We watched it back three times - DH is adamant he says ‘Amanda’, but he doesn’t! He says ‘Belinda’!

Or am I going mad?

I'm definitely going to rewatch the Christmas episode. Made me cry!

Soooo many funny moments.

One that springs to mind is when Julia is on the tannoy at Sports Day trying to locate Kevin and says, "He's tall....looks like a vegetarian..." 🤣🤣

I wonder when Amandaland is going to be on.

All the licence fee money goes on the presenters, not the shows. This is the issue - staff are paid way too much ! Lineker and Claudia winkleman paid millions , how can you justify that with peoples money???
