OP posts:
MadameCh0let · 26/03/2008 22:19

Ethan Hawke. That's it. Thank you.

Nicholas de vere Lacy hadn't done his research. Imagine thinking that 'not liking football' would get siralan on side!!

MadameCh0let · 26/03/2008 22:21

i thought Ralph was yuck.

And the little one, he looked like Simon Ambrose from last year's but a bit shrunken and spray-tanned.

So, two looky likeys from last year's. Aren't there enough people in the World?

notalone · 26/03/2008 22:38

Mmmm - Alex is nice. Think he looks a bit like Ryan Phillipe. Nicholas was a twat and a half. Surely he isn't like that in "real life"?

Maidamess · 26/03/2008 22:45

Havent read all threads but can I just say about a couple of the male contestants...Ding Dong!!

it was like The Apprentice meets Take That...2 of my favourite things!

VanillaPumpkin · 27/03/2008 08:09

I agree Alex is quite lovely looking. I love this show.
Thank goodness that prat went though. Rafe is just awful, truly. He reminds me of all the sloaney knobs I had the displeasure of going to Uni with. Pompous and arrogant and tosspot spring to mind.....

ceebee74 · 27/03/2008 08:12

Haven't read the whole thread yet - but OMG, some of the men...

I was sat there praying that he wouldn't get rid of Alex last night - just for the sheer pleasure value of watching him (and his lips)for the next few weeks.

Am going to enjoy this series I think

PMSL - I have just looked at Rafe's profile and the first thing I read is that he went to EXETER Uni, where I went. See my comments below about who he reminded me of!!!!!

VanillaPumpkin · 27/03/2008 10:38

Sorry, I mean Raef.

TsarChasm · 27/03/2008 10:54

Who is that odd beret wearing woman though? She's going to entertaining I suspect.

VanillaPumpkin · 27/03/2008 10:55

Oh yes lol. I think Lucinda is her name.

MadameCh0let · 27/03/2008 10:56

She's the Katie Perkins lookylikey, BUT in the trailor for next week it showed her crying, so she won't last as long!

The fakest snob I ever met when to Exeter. HOW did you stand it Vanilla? You must have needed a diazapam to socialise with those gits!

TsarChasm · 27/03/2008 10:57

I loved her for perching her beret on top of the fish flogging/wellies outfit .

hatwoman · 27/03/2008 10:58

dh sighed and said "It's amazing how many people mistake being a pushy gobshite for being good at business". I would add that it's also amazing how many people mistake being highly educated and poshly spoken for being good at business. poor poor sods

RoxyNotFoxy · 27/03/2008 10:59

I saw last night's episode, and don't think I can watch any more. They are just so full of themselves. I'm a winner, I'm the best, The others are losers, You don't just defeat them you thrash them, etc. God, do they learn that language at school? They actually sound about ten years old.

jumpingbeans · 27/03/2008 11:00

Why did it seem all the fella's were wearing bright blue contact lenses?

MadameCh0let · 27/03/2008 11:04

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said, don't wear your education on your sleeve" Regard it as a watch(?) that you take out to look at when you need to.

Or summfink like that.

MadameCh0let · 27/03/2008 11:08

It's a shame that the one woman who won it was Michelle Dewberry, I liked her, and there was nothing annoying about her personality, and shw was able to stay calm, but because they've had a woman win it, I think it's be a while before one wins it again.

Miriam Stanley, The Badger or Kristina Grimes would all have made good female winners..
