I’ve just switched on the Jack Draper match (well it’s the only one I can watch!)

He does seem to be suffering in the heat - he’s had a few chances to serve out the match but it’s not looking too good for him now. Hope there are not going to be more being sick in a bin situations from him - oh dear maybe too late 🤢

Watching Casper’s match, he’s down 0-3 in the first set tiebreak. I find Luca Van Assche’s proportions really weird, like his head is too big for his body or something.

Casper managed to claw it back and has taken the first set. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him look so sweaty!

I can only watch Norrie Ice (got to stick with the Brits apparently)

It does look very sweaty - I can almost feel the humidity through the TV - yuk - my worst nightmare!

The red button is banjaxed again. They've put Casper on twice instead of Sascha/FAA

I was happyto see Casper easily through the match after the first set- but he plays ADF next. I am Team Casper all the way, but have a bit soft spot for ADF, who is stuck in a 'mid 20s ranking' limbo - but can be a lot of fun to watch. Casper has had his struggles too- so ADF could have a bit of a chance.

ADF is another who probably is not a fan of the weather (with his Baby Boris Face ). It's on too late to watch, sadly.

Easy wins for Carlos and Daniil, Sascha did well against Felix (who is another who has periods of playing really well, and then it drops off).

Holger finally plays tonight. The organisers will probably be hoping for no more big upsets yet.

No acknowledgment of Aryna from Anhelina Kalinina except for side eye

Under the circumstances, it was unfortunate that her loss came to Anhelina. Made an already difficult week all the more difficult. Very hard to know how to react in that moment.

Doesn't look like it's raining today-which is good.

Would be nice to see the Ben Shelton match now, but with the Sky coverage, it's anyone's guess. Since there are no Brits in action first thing, they don't seem to be in any hurry to show anyone at all at the moment.

Oh- we're getting the Paolini match. I want to watch Ben! or even Musetti.

I timed this very badly, as the painkillers I'm taking for my back have kicked in and now I really want to go to sleep. To be honest, I'm not that fussed about this match. I do like Jasmine though, she always seems to be enjoying herself. Navarro is also having a very good few weeks.

Ouch Holger. It’s weird how few spectators there are. I think the Americans should give up their obsession with these huge stadiums, much better to have a smaller one and actually fill it. Or charge less for the tickets. This tournament was much better at the old venue too, not sure why they moved it.

I can't believe the score in the Holger match- Marozsan is definitely making a name for himself for causing trouble for the big names.
