I’ve just read that the beekeeper put them in a cage after he’d hoovered them up and they were then released (I’m way overinvested in these bees! )

Carlos has said he’s a little bit frightened of bees - poor thing - didn’t seem to hinder his play afterwards though

Also just seen that the group stage of the Davis Cup are going to be in Manchester in September this year - might try and get some tickets this time

I am just watching it now (they have been replaying the matches all day)- and it was quite funny how all of a sudden the bees just appeared. Carlos bolted. They are all over the camera. Mo getting really pissed off. There are thousands of them .

The whole thing was totally crazy Raahh. I was watching with DH and told him they’d probably need to call a beekeeper to come and catch the bees and he laughed at me… I felt pretty vindicated when beeman showed up!

It's a bit of an odd job to have on standby, although I suppose we don't get to see much of what he does.
The commentators did say that due to the the weather, there could be another swarm over the weekend.

I can see Tim, in a Wimbledon striped apron, tutting and getting the hoover out on centre court.

Tonight's matches don't start til a bit later, so I will probably miss them. And if the bees get involved again, who knows when they will start. Although Bee Man might be ready for them today.

Carlos will be playing in this today, just in case.

I don't really know who I want to win between Carlos and Jannik- I like them both, Carlos has been playing down his own chances saying that Jannik is the 'in form' player. He's not wrong, to be fair.

Ought to be a good match, if I can stay awake to watch it .

I'm glad to see Maria doing well, she does do through phases. Not sure how she will do against Iga though- apparently she leads their hth- but Iga has hardly been troubled at all so far.
