There was a scene where Jane reassured Sam she was part of the family, whatever happened with her and Mike.

Wouldn't Mike want the money out of the house or make Jane pay him rent, none of this is ever discussed

Yes it was Mike who bought the house, or did they buy it jointly? But maybe Mike will keep ownership as an investment for Sam's future. They agreed Sam would stay living with Jane but didn't mention the house.
Do we know if Sam's mum is still alive? I wonder if she will ever visit.

Well that was a very abrupt end for Kiri! She barely had chance to say goodbye before being whisked away. Poor girl never even made it onto the opening credits!

It was very strange to see her disappear like that. Not that I'm begging for her to be brought back, but still...the fuck? One minute they're all moving in together, the next she's off because she finds Nicolette being Nicolette.

Not that I like Nicolette but what an interfering busy body Kiri was. I wouldn’t be able to stand having a partner that constantly judged and look down their noses at me, what a horrible way to live. And go gossiping to the neighbours when they argue. Kiri’s friendship with remi and Cara was so cringe as well. They’ve known each other two minutes.

Nicolette was stupid to read it where she could be seen, though.

Just watched Thursdays. I don’t see the point in Kiri coming back but she’s still an investor so maybe she will be one of those characters that just pops up every now and then although she doesn’t have the gravitas that goes with that kind of role.

Totally agree on the now besties wit Cara and Remi after 2 weeks. She has lived with Mac in two houses. That would have made more sense as a send off friend. I will say that I think Remi really is good at selling that friendship though in the goodbye scene. She’s a very good actress and probably one of the best of the newbies.

Big news for me is that I’m finding Nell less annoying! I think her acting has improved and she’s less bleating.

I agree that Kiri is definitely a good actress, she really did seem properly chummy with ma/mum. But also agree I have zero interest in her character, so not bothered about her leaving. Maybe they'll bring back haz's sister as a love interest instead.

Can't agree with Nell being less annoying though. She does a weird eye narrowing thing which I find really irritating, even if she's not bleeding quite as obviously. I think you're just getting used to her!

I've just been thinking that toadie can't go on his own. But surely having both him and sonya die is ridiculous too. So if he has to go then I vote he gets back with Melanie and takes nell and Hugo with them.

@Smidge001 - I'm with you on all counts, though not sure what you mean by Nell "not bleeding"?
A quick google shows that the actor playing Cara is aged 35. I think she looks young for her age, so if they wanted the character to be 40 years old, they made a mistake in casting her!

I don't think Nell has improved, I think we are just more familiar with her. She overacts and overemphasises her facial expressions. I can see why they rapid-aged the character, to have some interaction with the new family and their teenagers, but it's a shame. I really like the previous little Nellyfish!

I'm excited for the drama of the special outback week this week. It's always good when Neighbours does special episodes!

I love Toadie and Melanie together, I thought they were a good pair, but now I'd quite like him to go off back to Dee. She's been mentioned a lot recently, and she was the original love of his life, so... let's see what happens.
