Mel was never manipulative. I'm annoyed they're playing her like this. Yes she might well have told him she wished she could have him back, but she'd never have been snarky at therese or acted in a manipulative manner. She was always straightforward but kind and fair. Let them get back together because toadie sees her putting him and terese first despite wanting him for herself. So he can be reminded how much of a wonderful selfless person she is. That would be far more in character.

I noticed Nell was there when pc Andrew tried to arrest Slade for what he’d done to Melanie. Wonder if Nell will do anything with that info.

Nicolette is really annoying me. Oh wah wah, she's having to parent a bit on her own, in a house with her mum for support. Jeez. It's been days! Clearly she was happy with her third split (though more likely just babysitting occasionally) and not keen to step up when needed. What a dick.

she did look like i feel though when you've been through every book and song and they STILL won't sleep lol. But yes, i know its under horrendous circs but she's not a new mom, she's not alone, she's not a kid. They are both old enough to wash towels and eat properly.

Also Arrons family are shit. Chloe was JUST in it, they really should have worked it so she was around for at least some of the aftermath. And seemingly no calls from Tyler or Mark. One mention of Chloe's plane being delayed so she missed the funeral but surely ONE of you would still go and see your widowed brother.

Agree re Slade, he's what the Kennedy house is missing lol. And agree re Mel. Imagine the harm it will cause those kids if him and Therese split up and him and Mel get back together now.

Poor Aaron. Don't blame him at all for going off for a run and a private howl of anguish instead of showing up at Nicolette's weirdly ad hoc domestic memorial. She has no right to be as pissed off with him as she is right now. The love of his life has only been dead a matter of days.
Agree about the jarring Brennan absences. Would it have killed them to cut in a few scenes? It's not compulsory to bring characters back by invoking their existence, whatever we might say on threads like these.

I agree - I really felt for Aaron 😔 (the actor playing him has played the role so well, especially since David's passing)

Chelsea is so annoying. Driving me mad. Hope Paul gets rid of her soon. Also, found it funny that Krista's baby bump has suddenly popped out😂

Toadie doesn’t work with Mel or Therese. He has zero chemistry with either of them because he just looks like he’s being bossed around by his Mum.

Even though it was totally out of character for Melanie I loved her strutting past toadie in her tiger thirst dress. Also living Holly in these scenes. Her face says it all 😂

I never liked Mel though as she's not warm on screen, so I never thought her and Toadie went together, so to me, this seems like a more natural character for her!

This. And more to the point why Lucy (aka Lassiters) and the Sinclair family are not commenting that actually they don’t want some randomer who has no relevant experience whatsoever to become acting manager of the hotel.
