The Mike-Jane ending was so disappointing! Not at all emotional. And why have him find someone else already? They should have given Jane the power of dumping.

And how irritating is Nicolette?! When they changed the actress they also changed the character's personality and it's so annoying to watch. Old Nicolette never behaved like a child.

Toadie's moments are making me really emotional. As soon as that East17 song came on I thought of the day Sonia died 😭

I really wish they'd just bumped Mike off at the start of the reboot. It's a waste of bringing him back at all doing it this way.

I have a friend staying who hasn't watched Neighbours in years and we were crying laughing as I was giving them plot line synopses of all the characters watching it earlier. When you think about it Neighbours really is stark raving bonkers and that's why I love it!

Every so often the costume dept totally nails Jane's outfits. It's few and far between but when they get it right, she looks amazing!

Well, that hasn't happened for a long time! Got so bored with today's episode I'm not even bothering to finish it. Party on, Wendy!

Yeah Nicolette and Wendy are not the combo for joint lead stories in an ep. Although I do find Wendy less annoying these days.

I’m mad that Nicolette was such a wonderful complexed character and now she’s reduced to an adult teenager.

Does anyone else find Kiri an incredibly dull character? I always struggled to see what Nicolette saw in her, and now of course the reverse is also true.

It felt like Nicolette was on something for this episode, she was manic.

It was confusing that we saw her drunk but the next day she was still the same.

Kiri is a bit meh to me. She’s fine as a side character and a friend to Mac and Freya but she’s a bit vanilla.

She doesn't seem to worry about childcare

I like Kiri. I thought she was quite cool when she came in towards the end of the 'old era' and she has a nice voice. Hopefully she can have some good storylines of her own.

That's what I thought too about mike having an emotional affair. Nothings happened yet but he might love her!

I don't know what is going on with toddler Nicoletten

It was like she was drunk for most of it. Barging into Toadie and Therese's house and flopping down on the sofa shouting that she wanted something from them. Barging into the pub and shouting at Logan. Barging into the cafe and shouting at Krista and who the hell is that other man who apparently is senior in the hotel?
Nicolette is an annoying character already but this was still really weird scripting.

Kiri is dull as dishwater and feels like a box-ticking character.

Wendy - I'm not enjoying her drunken partying but I'm so pleased she is finally getting a storyline. Her character seems capable of so much more but she's been really overlooked in the script writing so far.

The party seemed to be in broad daylight.

What does Wendy do at uni, she doesn't seem to do any work for her course

Isn't it a design course? I've heard mention of sone arts projects.

She WAS drunk, wasn't she? They had celebratory drinks at home and then she went off so I assumed it was all because she was drunk

She was drunk the night before when she went to Toadies but the next day she seemed to still be the same

Yeah that’s what confused me. The scene shifted to the next day but her behaviour was as if she went straight from one place to another.

Also the director for that episode had obviously learnt lots of new camera techniques they were keen to try! Which sort of added to the chaos of the episode.

There do appear to be quite a few continuity errors in Neighbours. Or days just merge into each other. One minute a character is in one place then suddenly they are somewhere else

I’m glad it’s not just me who thinks this. Sometimes I feel like I’ve missed an episode, will check and I haven’t. I think a lot must happen off screen because they often seem to talk about things happening that I have no recollection of but it never used to be like this and is really confusing!
