Will the Paul/Terese/Toadie/Mel quadrangle resolve itself? Will the Baddie Builders ever return? Will Eden get his comeuppance? All these and many more, coming up on Neighbours.

I find the app very bizarre though as there are so many 'continue watching' shows on there when the only thing I watch is Neighbours!

HoHoHoliday · 10/07/2024 20:20

I've found a solution if you have prime. Go to prime, to account settings, there you have the option to turn off autoplay new episode. Bingo!

Wow, that is fantastic information, thank you!

I've been thinking about the Logan/David thing and I have no clue but what if Logan didn't date David but worked at the same hospital as him, were friends and Logan got too much. I mean I could see him being a bit of a bunny boiler.

Also yes, Freeve is cutting the "coming up" off with their autoplay which is very annoying and I haven't figured out how to stop it.

Yes I'm assuming he was "in love" with him but David wouldn't get into a relationship with him and in the end left

I assume this because they can't rewrite history and not have Aaron as his first love

HoHoHoliday · 11/07/2024 18:08

Today's episode was great!

Pleased the Logan storyline had a conclusion and wasn't dragged out unnecessarily long.

I love the chat that goes on between Jane, Susan and Therese.

Loved the little moment between Susan and Karl. I bet it won't be long before we see that blue box again!

I unexpectedly shed a little tear when Toadie had his moment in his old house - didn't see that coming and it was surprisingly emotional despite not much happening.

And then Jane and Mike! Gosh. I know a lot of people are not Jane fans on here but I love her. I've been watching since the beginning in the mid-80s. I watched the two of them originally get together and then saw them reunite a lifetime later. I never expected he would actually return but I hoped he would continue to pop up on facetime.

Smidge001 · 11/07/2024 21:11

Me too. Actually, I'd have preferred it if Jane had realised that they deserved to be happy together, and gone to England (or Europe or wherever he is now) to be with him and share his dreams. She could pop back to erinsborough occasionally on hols.

Rummikub · 11/07/2024 21:12

Watched all this week's today.

It really felt like old neighbours!

Love Susan, Jane and Terese charring. Karl Susan at the bar too.

Mackenzie negotiating with Vera.

I was half expecting Aaron to call Logan back so they could grieve together.

Rummikub · 11/07/2024 21:14

Oh and agree I wanted jane to go visit mike and keep him appearing on video chat occasionally. Or he's permanently on an errand or in the shed.

SleepingStandingUp · 12/07/2024 13:16

Yeah they have a lovely friendship and it feels genuine.

Poor Aaron

suburburban · 12/07/2024 13:19

I've missed it as I'm away but why has Jane dumped invisible Mike?

MiddleClassProblem · 12/07/2024 13:20

The other day when Cara and Toadie talked about Shane putting up the garden room in record time made me laugh given the 1 day building jobs and home make overs all over Erinsborough.

She's told blonde son she has to

FlutteryButterfly · 15/07/2024 09:37

Bye Bye Mike 😭

MiddleClassProblem · 15/07/2024 09:51

That was annoying. I hate that he also has potential found someone else like lovely Mike would have an emotional affair. As if.

Nicolette is being written more and more child like each week.

NoDishiForRishi · 15/07/2024 10:23

Well that ended with a whimper didn't it? I mean we knew it was coming and had to happen because there was no way Guy Pearce was coming back in any meaningful way but still 🙄.

I'm glad that Sam is staying, I would have hated for her to be shunted off but Mike is a cheeky bloody fucker conducting an emotional affair with his boss whilst letting Jane care for his daughter.

Anyway, when's Paul coming back? Hopefully just in time to comfort Therese when Toadie buggers off. I miss him.

THANK YOU! Every single time an episode ends it starts autoplaying Masters Of The bloody Universe and it was giving me a twitch 😂

MiddleClassProblem · 15/07/2024 13:06

I’m glad Sam is staying but I want them to give her some plot! Similar to Dex it’s giving box ticking. It’s mad that she was not involved in the big Lassiters plots. They really could use her as someone who discovers something or overhears something. Instead she’s just at home and on the periphery.

MiddleClassProblem · 16/07/2024 07:24

Why is Byron at the vineyard answering phones anyway? He doesn’t work there and they currently aren’t investors

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 16/07/2024 09:20

I thought that, too, @MiddleClassProblem. I've not watched Neighbours all that regularly over the years since it began, so I don't know - have there always been such screamingly large holes in the plot or is this a new thing?

He is working there though isn't he? He was cleaning glasses... or is the trial over?

MiddleClassProblem · 16/07/2024 11:00

But then the trial went toys up because of Kiri and Nicolette so I though now they are just people offering a contract?

It was mad how they walked in and had a go a Leo in the first place when he had no idea they were re-offering.

I don’t like how child like they are making Nicolette like she has no business sense and also pulls teenage faces every five minutes. Old Nicolette could react childishly but she wouldn’t be doing whatever it is this one is

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 16/07/2024 11:01

Yes, surely the trial is over now that Leo has settled on brining in another investor?

suburburban · 16/07/2024 15:09

Vera sounds like Dame Edna

suburburban · 16/07/2024 15:36

Why isn't Mackenzie working as a lawyer and suddenly at vineyard

Why is Haz not running coffee shop

Why is Nicolette not an equal business partner
