Gutted for Anton. I'm cross at GH for making him believe all was fab.
The others saw things weren't as they seemed, but Anton was trying to see all the positives. We've all been there.

I didn’t see last nights episode. Is it worth me catching up today?

I think Georgia should not have passed the psych test. I don’t think she likes Anton, but equally cannot be sure if she self implodes as a protective factor when someone gets close. The kiss last night was weird, but again is that because she doesn’t like Anton or is PDA triggering, if the latter how on earth do you explain that in the moment to what would be a private discussion.

I don't know if anyone listens to the Happy place podcast but GH was on that just before Christmas and she came across really well. She's come across terribly in this and I think she needs some major work on her self esteem. I think she knows full well she doesn't like Anton. Maybe at first she thought she might grow to like him but I'd say the way she reacts when there's a physical approach from him shows she actually finds him repulsive. She literally can't bear to kiss him.
Sadly I think Anton also has very low self esteem despite all the bravado as he knows she feels that way but goes along with it.
it's actually quite sad to watch

Josh and Sophie are going to be very shocked if they don't win, they seem very (too!) Confident it's coming across as cocky and arrogant

See I don't think they expect to win. I do think they like each other but they have been in the bottom couples before. I actually don't think Josh said the stuff about GH and Anton to make himself look better. I think he's just a bit of a dick with a big mouth.

Josh’s delivery might be off but what he said was correct. A bit disappointing that no one else stood up for him as he wasn’t the only one who had cast doubt on Georgia’s relationship. I don’t really understand why Josh has got so much stick.

Agree with this. Anton especially seems very sensitive. He deserves someone who doesn’t make him feel insecure. I am probably old enough to be his mum and feel quite protective of him. He is so eager to please.

A few weeks ago I'd really be looking forward to a good watch but lately I've been thinking oh come on, hurry up and finish. I'm not sure what gave me the ick though I've just got a bit bored, I guess.

I am still enjoying it . I have only watched a couple of previous series of love island and after this finishes I would like to catch up on the other series if I can. It’s pure escapism for me as life is very tough at the moment and it makes me forget.

I'm mostly enjoying it but lately it has been a bit more boring eg the calls to friends episode

I'm the same, I always get a bit fatigued towards the end! In the normal series I usually never bother watching the final dates and things cos I'm so over it by then 😂

Will probably finish this, be happy for a break, then dive into MAFS next Monday 😂

I have to say, I was bored shitless. DH was watching it with me - yep an almost 60 y.o. man watches Love Island! 😁and if he had not been there I would have whizzed through 50% of it. OMG it was tedious. It was almost ALL about Molly, Tom, and Callum. About their little 'love triangle,' and does Molly still have feelings for Callum la la la la la. 🙄

Also Georgia Steel can't seem to make up her mind what accent she has. She kept pronouncing certain words like someone from the south would, yet she's a northerner. Like 'pass' would be pronounced parsss, and 'ghastly' would be pronounced 'garstlee.' So odd.

And now Georgia Harrison and Anton are on the rocks. 🙄 How tedious. They were never going to work anyway.

I stopped half way through last night, but saw the clip of Anton and Georgia's fight. Did he leave the show or just leave the bedroom to sleep outside?

He left the bedroom and went to sleep downstairs 😢

Just seen on the podcast. Apparently Joe and Molly kissed in October but didn’t pursue things and Tom rang him the day after asking if he’d kissed Molly

Agree last night between Georgia H and Anton was strange. One minute they were kissing and the next she was calling him judgemental and him calling her selfish

Hopefully the others will tell Anton that she isn’t into him. I think she wants a good guy after what she’s been through but doesn’t fancy him so is trying to force herself, I personally don’t think she should have gone on the show everything is being said about what she’s been through which I totally get but then I don’t think it was right for them to put her on the show. On a love island Facebook group I’m on a few people have been asking if she is on medication and she appears “drunk” a lot of the time (not my words personally)

I saw online that his mum had also said she doesn’t think Georgia is genuine

i never finish a series of love island.. It gets boring and all the fake mushy stuff gets on my nerves 😬

@SweetBirdsong I saw somewhere that she had some sort of acting training about how to come across well spoken on TV

@GaroTheMushroom The same was said about Georgia when she was on The Only Way Is Essex. Apparently she was drunk when recording a lot of the scenes and they had to cut a lot of them. But I don’t know as I know their alcohol is limited on Love Island
