I’m sad to say that I find The Apprentice boring and formulaic now, with weaker candidates every year. I think there’s scope for a new programme which is a sort of cross between The Apprentice, Crystal Maze, Scrapheap Challenge, Survivor and - anyone remember it - The Adventure Game?!

He was so crap in that task I actually wonder if it was pre-arranged. "Look, either we kick you out citing your anti Semitic Twitter account; or you co-operate, make a mess of the task and at least leave with some honour [at the moment of firing]'.
