Ice it would be a horrible best of 10 tie break too -and I really don't like those - they are so unfair after a 5 set match!

I know Raahh I don’t really get the point of the longer tiebreaks.

I know they can't let matches go on forever- or you get into Isner territory and no-one wants that.

Well I was right about it being a long match - didn’t expect it to be this long though! Looks like Daniil has the edge now.

Chessie I wasn't sure- there were a few wobbles, and I think Sascha should have won in 3.

If/when he loses in 5, if will be a hard one to come back from for a while.

Maybe Daniil’s hoof trainers give his legs extra power to keep going.

I think if they have to go to a final set tiebreak it should just be a normal one to 7. I don't think there are many matches when the extra 3 points is going to change the outcome.

Daniil reminds me of Rafa a bit - not in looks or style of play, but just in stamina and bloody mindedness, I think- when you think they ought to be out of it.

I hope he bins them after this tournament. They make me feel queasy
