Oh dear- this is not going well- come on Daniil!

It's crazy having such late matches. I went off to Emmerdale thinking Danill would have got his act together when I got back!

They are going to have to re-think things next year (again) - not sure what they can do. It's the night match start times that are the issue.
The way matches this year have gone- they are not getting any shorter. (And I don't want 5 set matches scrapped).

Tim and Simon discussing timing of matches. Why shouldn't they bring the day matches on earlier? 11 am is ok for the out outside courts, so it should be ok for the show courts too.

But it's about money.
and I think they assume that in the earlier matches the big names will win quicker (and women's matches are always short) - which is slightly arrogant really. And not always (as we have seen) the case.

I think the only answer to this, is a Wimbledon style curfew. Perhaps not as extreme as 11pm (some players moan about being made to stop then, as much as they do playing into the early hours- but then, you can't please some people), but maybe 1am would be as late (early) as they can go.

Because this is ridiculous now.

Been score watching and couldn't believe either the score/result or that they were still playing!! Agree with everything above. So much for the new guidelines, which were meant to put a stop to this bollocks! WhaWhat time does play start on the show courts and was there a gap between the day and night sessions on Rod Laver?
