Now fully at Live TV pace.

Will it be a traitor in the kitchen with a poisoned chalice?

Did Sophie say ‘hammy territory’? Is she here in mumsnet? Did someone challenge her to say it?

dapsnotplimsolls · 17/01/2024 22:10

I think Diane will be surprised about Harry.

TitsInAbsentia · 17/01/2024 22:11

I really hope whoever it is says no! Hoping Zach now properly goes for Paul given Harry's aside of "is it two traitors going at each other".

ParsnipAndPoppy · 17/01/2024 22:11

Jellykat · 17/01/2024 21:59

Hope its Zach, Harry saying 'as bait' but think hes thinking more ally (against Paul)

YES!

Norugratsatall · 17/01/2024 22:12

Hopefully someone will remember that he is who Miles voted for.

God yes!! Will they have forgotten this in all the excitement do you think? This could be Paul's downfall!

Anisette · 17/01/2024 22:13

I was glad that someone - Jaz? - brought up again the massive clue they were given when Meg was killed instead of Paul. That was a massive clue for the faithful, but too many of them have allowed themselves to be conned out of working it out.

Did Claudia tell them to watch out for crocodile tears? Paul should have had the sense to keep his eyes dry.

SpttyMaldoon · 17/01/2024 22:14

I’m so disappointed in Jaz tonight.

he’s been our hero all week and when he had the chance to reveal that conversation to everyone, he kept quiet.

they’re only going to catch Paul because Harry is giving him to them on a silver platter.

im behind Harry now, he’s played a great game without being vicious and all the faithfuls are useless, they haven’t worked for the prize money, they don’t deserve a single pound.

going to bed now because I’m mentally and emotionally drained.

WriterOfWrongs · 17/01/2024 22:14

Am I the only one who went off it a bit tonight? Just felt like shallow drama, as shallow as that grave. I am a traitor to to this thread.

What's the podcast?

It's Traitors Uncloaked, on BBC2 right now with Diane and Miles

SecondUsername4me · 17/01/2024 22:22

Anyone else think they got the inspiration for the "funeral" from the Geri Halliwell music video?

Yep, I agree with you. It lost some of the magic and intrigue for me this evening. Became a bit cheesy and predictable, or I’m done cases predictably unpredictable.

i think they have too many fairly weak characters who think they’re outspoken but really aren’t contributing anything. And they’re too quick to follow each other on accusations without thinking critically.

MadCatLady27 · 17/01/2024 22:24

Omg! They were so close to getting Paul. I can't wait to see Charlotte and blonde who isn't Evie's face when they see what he is. Charlotte is so far up his bum it's ridiculous - she would be a perfect one to murder to throw the heat off him because why would he murder someone who's so devoted to him being faithful

Was it me or did Harry slip up? He said Miles passed Diane the cup, before she told him this (before they went to do the task) yet he wasn't in the room when he did it. Apart from that he's playing an absolutely blinding game and deserves to win

What was Jaz doing at the round table?! I was saying yesterday how clever and sussed he was. It was the perfect time for him to add his voice to Paul being a traitor

Knew they'd get to recruit, I'd have picked Jaz however I'm glad they didn't as it sounds like the person will be a sacrificial lamb. Ross would be a good call however I can see him admitting to them that Diane was his mum, thinking he trusts them, and them using that to get him out.

Of course we don't get to see who it is why do we have to wait 😭

It's getting frustrating all the interesting people are going and we are getting left with a little group of Team Paul females who like the girl last season could get the prize thinking there's no possible way he could be a traitor because he's such a nice guy. Charlotte especially is annoying me, and one of the blondes. Oh I knew it wasn't you Paul, blurgh!

Anisette · 17/01/2024 22:24

MadeOfAllWork · 17/01/2024 21:36

I think they will both want to murder someone who they feel has spotted them. I think it might be Jaz.

That would immediately point the finger at Paul.

I enjoyed it, but not as much as the "normal" episodes. Putting Evie, Diane and Paul into the last three contrived it too much for my liking.

I think Jazatha Christie might be playing an excellent game (or I might have it completely wrong!). Recall this he's been in the spotlight and the made it up with Paul. In private, he's agreed with Zach he thinks Paul is a traitor, but as I've said previously, I think he's biding his time.

Miles was the more obvious target for today due to the chalice thing.

It was hilarious watching Miles and Paul go at each other, and then Harry commenting on it.

I still think Paul is smarter, and he was right that a traitor had to go this evening, but he's almost over thinking and over complicating it e.g. also going into the dungeon and so on. Harry is just opportunistically jumping at the open doors when they present!

ParsnipAndPoppy · 17/01/2024 22:29

Done @WriterOfWrongs , we should also share with @MadCatLady27 too… all on the same page.

I have new nicknames for the two interchangeable blondes, Cheevie Charlie and Evie.

Charlie (Unbrushed) - Pro Paul

Evie (Half Brushed) - Anti Paul
