Loved Sophie’s octopus.

Not an obvious winner here.

I think Steven might take it again, I liked his set best. I also loved Jan’s, I really like her style, it is such a shame she struggles with the challenges

I shall miss Cadi's magnificent quiff.

I didn’t especially like Donna’s teapot, though I usually love her stuff. Very sorry to see Cadi go.

Didn't like stevens octopus messy and not a good pourer! Surprised cadi went over him.

I thought Steven's was the best, it was very stylish and cleverly fitted together. Donna's was well made, but I didn't like the design. Dan's octopus was a bit weird, it just didn't work somehow.

I liked Jan's best but expected Steven to win POTW. Sad to see Cadi go.

I liked Steven’s and Sophie’s - unusually for me I didn’t like Donna’s at all. I think Steven was a bit robbed - was Donna’s really so much better than his to make up for her 5th place in the second challenge against his 1st place?

I think Stephen's wasn't the right style for the glaze. They wanted lots of texture.

I thought Stephens was clever and was surprised he didn't get the top slot. I was surprised at Cadi going. If I was going to pick one to take home, it would have been Sophie's octopus.

I think Dan's last minute/back on an envelope attitude and "the barman came up with the idea last night" is probably irritating for other potters who are putting in the effort and taking it seriously. It may be a bit of an act, but his mugs looked pretty slapdash. His extra little pouring teapot was a daft idea.

Loved Donna's teapot and mugs. I thought they were beautiful and also more closely matched the brief than Steven's, though I loved his too. I can't remember the name of the lady who did the belly dancers set - also loved her work. I thought Dan to go over Kadi this week - we'll see if he's still there after next week. 🌹

I was a bit irritated by Dan last night too - he doesn’t seem to be taking it as seriously as the other potters. He’s a great thrower but his decoration isn’t as good as the others. I also think he should have gone over Cadi.

Jan's belly dancing set was lovely! She's such a nice person, and has improved so much.

I agree - Jan's was both gorgeous and practical - and wouldn't have been a nightmare to dust if you kept it for purely decorative purposes!

I adored Donna's, but I could see the Chateau Viper spiders having a field day in those many nooks and crannies.

I love throw down- my problem is that I practically never like any of the things they make! I can't remember- have they ever had to make anything plain? Or is that too easy? A Japanese style tea set, for example?

How on earth did Snake Man not go home? The colour was poor and the teapot didn't pour properly. I think Cadi's was better than that set.

Every week I have predicted that Dan would be sent home, but he survives by the skin of his teeth. Maybe there is something in his work that doesn't come across on a tv screen. Dunno, but I felt like that was a lazy effort. He even copied the snakeskin effect from someone last week.

I think I'm more surprised that he wasn't even mentioned as a possibility (in the TV edit - I suppose they might have discussed him at the time). Cadi's was much better than both his and the Octopus with the tiny teapot.

Nevertheless, I don't think it will make any difference to the final 3. my guess is Donna, Jan and Steven at the moment. I think Donna is a dead cert but the other two might have a bad week. Steven has made big improvements since the beginning.

I think they did make some simpler sets in the earlier shows. It seems to very decoration/novelty led this time. I liked the belly dance set this week though. Fun, unique and worked really well, Donna's was amazing and the young woman with octopus was good too. (Sorry name has gone)
