I thought the owl was so much better than the fox, even with all the cracks! The Turkey was great though 🦃

I didn't like the overall shape of the turkey and I didn't think the raku effects worked well on it. Much preferred the kite. The most realistic by far was Donna's goat - anyone else think they were a bit under-powered in their praise for her? I'm wondering if they're trying not to allow her to run away with it.

I loved the kite, thought it was gorgeous.

I really liked Donna's goat and I liked the kite as well and preferred either of them to the turkey. 🌹

I thought Donna's goat looked a bit scary, like some sort of Satanic ritual fetish object. I loved the cow, that was so well done.

It reminded me of The Wicker Man

Goats are scary though - it’s their eyes.

I thought the fox's eyes were too close together. But that's such a minor niggle...they are all so talented.

I'm afraid Siobhan continues to spoil it for me. Her presenting style grates on me.

I also thought the eyes on Donna's goat were wrong - she just seemed to have the eyeballs stuck on. If you compare them to the cow's eyes which were set nicely into the face with lids etc, they were just wrong.

I know what my attempt would look like though 😂

I thought that. Her goat was amazing - flawless even - and I thought she looked a little disappointed with their reaction too.

I liked the turkey for its whackiness but agree it did not show the best Raku effects. The kite was better for Raku, but a bit pedestrian in form. I agree Donna's goat was amazing - but a bit sinister. I enjoyed Raku week more than normal, though I did feel sorry the poor cow cracked in half.

It must be difficult to judge, because so far Donna seems far and away the best, but they can’t give her potter of the week every week.
I didn’t like the Turkey but the construction and colour held up to the raku firing despite having elements that could have made it unstable if not worked properly so I can see why it won.
I don’t know why he didn’t use a former that could be taken away in bits like others did. He threw the whole challenge by slicing the head in half for raku firing imo.

Just watched. I like the donkey best. Mond you I don't really like the way turkeys look that much anyway (sorry turkeys!!).

Kite was fabulous- and if I honest it's the first time I've understood why they made a fuss of her make. (Didn't get why her vase decoration was chosen!)

Donna is lovely on Instagram- she’s always congratulating the other potters and showing their makes.

Just caught up. Love raku week. I wasn't in agreement that the turkey was best ,though I did think his mark making was best with the heron. Really liked the donkey and Donna's goat.
