The Masked Singer Returns : who's that beneath the mask?

Could it be David Tennant? Is it eventually Sheridan Smith?? What ridiculous - and possibly even dead- celebrities will the panel name this series? What completely obscure clues will lead us to guess it's Beyonce , and end up being the really obscure one off the Sugababes' 18th line up?

To those who are suggesting the likes of Broad or Raducanu for someone behind a mask, how on earth do you know what they sound like when they are singing???

We don't! That's the concept...

That's fair enough it just seems that when the show is on, and people are posting here, they seem so certain that it might be X or Y and I was wondering how they knew what these people sounded like when they sang. Makes perfect sense now 😁

Also a lot of non-trained singers sing like they speak

And the trained singers have form for undersinging or disguising their voices, unless they are Morten Harket

And then no one guesses him anyway because he wouldn’t do a show like that 😂

People are certain it's x, y or z because of whether the clues match the physique/body language etc

Tinsel I think you would know her songs if you heard them, the voice could be hers, but I can't find all the clues. I thought someone suggested her on the night but I've scrolled through and can't find who now

Now you have said dua lipa I can hear it...shes definitely downplaying her voice but it does sound similar.. however I can't see her coming on this show either

funny since relistening I'm thinking Letitia Dean now...she had a chart song in the 80s so can sing, the bow maybe the sound of the Bow bell and the weather vane ie Eastenders..started 1985 not 84 though.,and it sounds like her now I know?! Lol

How have I only just found this thread??!! I am obsessed with this show and spend far too much time trying to work them out. I got 3/4 on the Christmas one and I have some guesses for this one. I totally agree on Alex Brooker. The speaking voice sounds just like him.
Cricket- it sounds like Simon Webbe. That's his voice so I'll be shocked if it's not him. He had a great solo album when Blue first split up.
Dippy Egg- clues point to Noel Fielding but unsure.
Rat- I'm convinced this is Denise Welch. It sounds just like her. The rat is a nod to her son Matty being the inspiration for a character in a film. He spoke about it. Her godfather wrote the film. Can't remember the name of it. Kids film.
Maypole- it really sounds like Rita!!!
Weather was unmistakably Dionne Warwick- gutted she was voted out as that was the obvious one. She was on it in the US so not such a big shock she'd do it here too.
