Is there still no cure for tetanus? You don’t hear about it as much these days. I used to have the vaccination every year as a kid as my dad worked with horses. I’ve not had one in my adult life.

A quick google says there isnt. Also if you get it you don't get immunity so can get it ago.

Think a tetanus shot lasts for 10 years. If you have a bad cut now they’ll do a preventative shot.

I got bitten by a random dog about 8 years ago. Went to hospital for a tetanus jab and was told if I’d had 4 in my life I had lifetime cover. Totted up I’d probably had 5 so went home. Trust their info was correct.

Probably I’m late by a couple of year to learn this but I read just recently that Reggie is the son of Leslie Grantham aka Den Watts, former landlord of the Queen Vic .

I guessed tetanus the min Fred cut his hand, thought he was going to die 😥 I had a elderly patient tell me her 12 year old son cut his leg on a Friday (back in the 50s) and died of tetanus within 48 hours. I've never forgotten that patient, she was still in shock over 60 years later.

I thought Trixie should have directly asked Fred if he'd had his tetanus jab recently, it's the first question I'd have asked him. Plus I'd have got him some antibiotics.

When I was watching tonight, I was thinking how much Reggie resembled his dad. I couldn't think of the actor's name, just the infamous name of Dennis Watts!
