Great old movies?

I’m sick of flicking through every pay site I’ve got and not finding anything new or recent I want to watch. Or being disappointed with an over hyped new film.

So, I’ve decided to watch old movies. I used to love them when I was a child. So, hit me with your favourite movies black and white, up to the 90’s. The must sees.

My favourite are;

Gone With The Wind
Waterloo Bridge
The Ghost & Mrs Muir

@FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge I'm Australian, so I don't know Emma Willis. I looked at her picture, and I can see what you mean. It's the hooded eyes, I think.

Out of interest, I googled actresses with hooded eyes, and the only one who came close in the looks was, for me, Catherine Zeta Jones whose beauty harks back to the style of the golden years of Hollywood. Lauren Bacall also had fabulous hooded eyes.

Agatha Christie likely used an aspect of her life for one of her mysteries. I'll not say which because it is a spoiler if you know.

Just looked her up on Wiki. Yes, I recognised it straight away, before I read as far as the mention of Agatha Christie.

Not the first time Dame Agatha had used real life events as inspiration or background, of course.
