It was on ITVx months ago and I watched it then.

I really enjoyed it although it mixes fantasy with fact which is a bit annoying.

Yeah nothing is new or exciting anymore. I don't think I like it. Even if sometimes I'm guilty. But that's usually because I think it must have been on tv and I've missed it.

I watched some of this but didn't watch all episodes on RTE1 in the spring. No ITV in our house.

ITVX is just the replacement name for ITV hub . You've always had to register . Lots of new programmes but you only have to subscribe [5.99 a month] if you don't want the adverts .

Some of the drama series are on there before they shown on normal ITV but you still don't have to pay for them .

I could see it on my tv if I wanted to but prefer to watch it on my Chromebook as it's handier .

Hi @butterpuffed I get all that. I had the hub and have ITVX. I just didn't know if a benefit of subscribing is not only the lack of adverts, but also earlier access and complete series shown in advance of the non subscriber option, so they put them up as a box set?

I'm not about to subscribe, just curious as to the scheduling, how far in advance series have been aired before regular TV gets them, that sort of thing.

They don't say whether the ones they show in advance will be shown on regular tv or when . I'm watching the one about Cary Grant, free and supposedly on tv soon and so was the Noele Gordon one [gave up on that!] which was later on tv .

The only ones I can see as boxsets that you have to subscribe to are old ones like Dad's Army , Only Fools and Horses etc . It isn't really very clear .
