Yep the problem is that none of them work for Lisa anymore. They are in their 30's and 40's with families and past divorces/addiction issues. Not exactly carefree 20 year olds.

They should have moved on to the Valley and got some younger cast members for VPR

Southern Hospitality is not as good as vintage VPR but at least they are an appropriate age with messy relationships.

And as for James losing his temper and violently kicking Graham (allegedly) Who is protecting this man ? !

Right how was Scheana skint? They get paid alot for the show.

And Tom saying he had to go his band shows because he had no money.

Like what are they spending all their money on? They should be loaded!

I'm assuming she was not able to film the show (covid restrictions were very strict in California) and so her show income was not coming in.

But I'm with you, she owns a couple of homes and should have some investments from her income over the years.

Tom claiming he was forced to go on tour to earn money is just stupid. He was paying his band members and wasn't playing at major stadiums so his costs were covered at best.

Did anyone see the announcement today that they are completely replacing the cast ? Also that Schwartz and Sandys is closing.

Bravo is bringing Vanderpump Ruleses^back for another season — but with a major cast overhaul.
The network announced on Tuesday, November 26, that season 12 will feature Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of “close-knit SUR-verss who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.” The new season begins production next year and a premiere date and cast will be announced later.

“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again,” executive producer Alex Baskin said in a statement on Tuesday. “With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together.”

Honestly, Baskin fucked the show. To take it from its first prime time Emmy noms and record ratings to being cancelled the same season? That takes serious fuckery.

I think it’s time to end - they clearly dislike each other and it’s so broken that it can’t be fixed. Lala and Sandoval ruined the whole show.

It’ll take one helluva new cast to make it work. I’d say almost impossible to be authentic- given those who apply know the ‘assignment’ to be controversial to stay

I agee. VPR was lightening in a bottle. A group of messy friends who worked and lived together before the advent of social media.

To be honest it does need a cast overhaul, none of them actually work at Sur anymore & most are just annoying, even Arianna needs to stop playing the victim & get on with it.

I agree it will take some cast to make it work though, hopefully not a failure like the New York housewives

Personally I only made it through two episodes and is why I have reservations about the reboot. But give it a go

I was the same @kenyaswhiterefrigerator - could only watch one or two episodes. They are clearly desperate to bring in viewers, they've signed up Stassi to be involved in season 2.

The biggest problem for me is that despite Bravo being an entirely female-led network of shows (e.g. housewives) the production behind all of them is so mysoginistic. The last season of VPR confirmed that, the way they absolutely wanted to redeem Sandoval despite this being just two months after the affair was exposed.

Cheating is one thing. But Sandoval did it on another level.

• Cheating with his girlfriends close friend
• Sleeping with her in Ariana's bed while Ariana was at her grandmas funeral
• Dressing up as his mistress for Halloween - and getting Ariana to help him with the costume!
• Recording Rachel without her consent

IMO That's stuff thats unforgiveable and he deserved the backlash he got. He never once showed any sign of contrition or apology. I don't think there was any way past any of that.
