does anybody else feel that Craig is rather over emotional tonight, almost like he knows it is his last one?

I’ve been thinking that, expecting an announcement.

pickledandpuzzled · 16/12/2023 20:28

I think that was a brave choice and could have worked against them, but they wanted to do it anyway.

Elderflower14 · 16/12/2023 20:28

Craig you utter cockwomble.... It wouldn't have killed you to give him a 10.

thedukeofbuckinghamshire · 16/12/2023 20:28

jojom10 · 16/12/2023 20:27

*Not keen on Bobby bringing his mum into it. He's said before that he doesn't remember her. I've switched my votes - I'll be voting for Layton.

You don't have to remember your mum to miss her presence in your life and be sad about her story*

True, but I'd rather we were judging him on his dancing. He doesn't need to go for the sympathy vote. He's certainly lost mine.

Exactly how I feel.

EvilRingahBitch · 16/12/2023 20:28

cordelia16 · 16/12/2023 20:26

I want Layton to win, but I know he won't. I definitely prefer Ellie to Bobby. But I have a feeling it will be Bobby.

I'll change my name to IgnorantRingahBitch if Bobby wins. He doesn't have a hope.

They all seem a bit over-emotional to be honest.

Absolutely loved watching Bobbys dance again. So touching and beautiful.

MeinKraft · 16/12/2023 20:28

Oh god tears are coming

SoupDragon · 16/12/2023 20:28

I'm very much team Layton (am pretty sure he wont win) .. I think his dance training is a cover for the homophobes..

That's a really nasty thing to say.

I couldn't give a shit about his sexuality, I do hate the fact that he is a Professional dancer.

Redcrayons · 16/12/2023 20:29

I was thinking that. Is he leaving?

KimberleyClark · 16/12/2023 20:29

PastorCarrBonarra · 16/12/2023 20:28

I’ll be honest, I’ve been on the SCD threads since September and I’ve noticed no homophobia.

There has certainly been homophobia from the general public.

chaosmaker · 16/12/2023 20:29

I love the great pottery throwdown for crying.... brilliant :)

Danniotley · 16/12/2023 20:29

I don’t know that it is although he has talked about life after strictly but he just seems quite teary tonight.

LaMarschallin · 16/12/2023 20:29

KimberleyClark · 16/12/2023 20:27

Good for Craig.

I agree - presumably he doesn't like being manipulated either.

WillowTit · 16/12/2023 20:29

Craig can't leave

chaosmaker · 16/12/2023 20:29

Um he is a performer outside of strictly you know

AintNothinButARoundFrog · 16/12/2023 20:29

I'm not sure how you can watch the campest show on TV and be homophobic. The two don't go.

GrouchyKiwi · 16/12/2023 20:30

I'd have really liked to see Layton & Nikita's salsa again. It was ace.

Jellykat · 16/12/2023 20:30

Laughing at 'homophobes', when we all loved John and Jo jo dancing together!

kaylangrish · 16/12/2023 20:30

Unrelated but DM and I are debating whether Bobby looks a bit peaky or if it was just odd lighting / odd camera angles. He really looked pale on the dancefloor at the end of his routine but by the time he was with Claudia he looked ok...?

MeinKraft · 16/12/2023 20:30

Danniotley · 16/12/2023 20:27

does anybody else feel that Craig is rather over emotional tonight, almost like he knows it is his last one?

He's been tearful for a few weeks I've thought.

sunflowersanddaisys · 16/12/2023 20:30

I can’t imagine strictly without Craig 😮

Onwegointohappytimes · 16/12/2023 20:30

PastorCarrBonarra · 16/12/2023 20:28

I’ll be honest, I’ve been on the SCD threads since September and I’ve noticed no homophobia.

Maybe not on here but elsewhere it's been pretty vicious

EvilRingahBitch · 16/12/2023 20:30

Ohpleeeease · 16/12/2023 20:28

I’ve been thinking that, expecting an announcement.

I hadn't thought of that, but now you say that, his mention of Natasha Kaplinsky in series 1 does sound a bit like that.

FuzzyPuffling · 16/12/2023 20:30

chaosmaker · 16/12/2023 20:29

YES! Weepy Keef, we call him.
