Todd has set his sights on magic fingers Moses

greengreengrass25 · 29/12/2023 20:39

Typically the carer is a gay man as well. Is he hired privately

Has Simon moved into Ryan's old room at t
Carla's flat

JadeSeahorse · 29/12/2023 20:47

Apologies if someone has already picked up on this but the guy playing Bobby, wasn’t he on BGT when he was a child?

I do recall he was quite funny then.

Ellenanora7 · 29/12/2023 21:53

In case anyone is wondering how Ed feels about everything that's happened, well, he's sorry, he only mentioned it about five hundred times so you might have missed it.

DeeDee is ok with her Dad breaking the law like faking a burglary, wasting police time, potentially getting Craig into trouble but decides to go to them for the insider trading, where they could all end up in prison for years, ok then DeeDee.

Yes he was, he reads his lines like he's still on bgt. V annoying

OnTheBoardwalk · 29/12/2023 22:26

It’s really annoying me the lack of questioning about flashing all the cash and no questions being asked about Stephens money being used to buy the Rovers Return. Is an absolute farce

OnTheBoardwalk · 29/12/2023 22:35

And Ed getting into everyone’s bank accounts transferring money AND getting credit card in Norris's name when any proper company would have done a mortality check as standard

GrandTheftWalrus · 29/12/2023 22:38

How did they get Stephens money?

Yes it’s so annoying the bank would want to know why £250k had suddenly appeared in Daisy’s bank account, but money laundering doesn’t seem to concern The bank of Weatherfield.

GrandTheftWalrus · 29/12/2023 22:38

How did they get Stephens money?

Daisy cracked his initial bank password from a postcard then had full access to his account and the ability to transfer £250k with no other safeguarding controls

gerispringer · 29/12/2023 23:17

I’m finding the portrayal of the disabled characters as cheeky fun guys ( Alex and now Bobby) cringy and embarrassing.

LizzieFromTheForest · 29/12/2023 23:36

I like Classic Corrie too. But it's not gonna be long before it catches up to modern times when it started to get 'meh' and then crap! It's on 2004 already.

I know Classic Corrie started at around 1986-or 1987 in 2017. I wish they would keep the Classic Corrie running on ITV3 as it is, but then start it again from say early 1970s, with Annie Walker, Ena Sharples, Bet Lynch, Elsie Tanner, Albert Tatlock, Stan and Hilda, Vera and Jack, Ray Langton, Brian Tilsley, Ivy Tisley etc etc etc...

So we can see old classic Corrie almost from the start. I believe there are a number of episodes from the 1960s that have vanished/been deleted/no longer available, so starting at 1970 would be cool. Show say, 10 episodes a week - 2 a day, on ITV3 at around 11.30am. I wish they would do that!

How do Todd and Billy know the carer is gay??

I thought the same.

How do Todd and Billy know the carer is gay??

When he said he was a physio at home in Nigeria they asked why he left and he made reference to it not being safe for him there. Can't remember the exact words, but it was a pretty broad hint.

I'm guessing that Moses and Billy will get together once Paul's gone.

Thequeenofwishfulthinking · 30/12/2023 11:55

I think Billy and Todd will get together when Paul passes away.
Moses and his healing hands are probably just a temporary situation as Paul’s condition deteriorates and his pain increases.

FreeAdamsApples · 30/12/2023 12:24

What's the history with Billy, Todd and Paul? Did one of them used to date one of them? Then another one came along?

I was thinking last night it would be nice if Paul could spend his final months with Moses's non pawing hands soothing him and Billy could fuck off to the church and pray the whole time so we don't need to see him.

I really need to stop watching it 😴

eggandonion · 30/12/2023 12:29

Billy and Todd were an item but then Todd vanished and came back with a new head I think? But Paul and Billy were together and evil Todd got between them for a while...possibly. Summer was Todds and Billys when she arrived?
Did Billy arrive as Seans partner?
Maybe Sean and Moses could be an item.

Clawdy · 30/12/2023 13:33

Nooo! Nobody deserves the dreadful Sean.!

Infusedwithfigandhoney · 30/12/2023 13:42

I wonder if they are going down the route of as Paul gets weaker, Billy and Moses get together and all the themes of guilt, sorrow, needs, loss, professional boundaries etc

BillyPrayerhands does anguished guilt well 🙏

Yasmin suggesting a meal at speed Dahl where she and Stu work !

Jenny and Daisy buying back a pub that failed in the first place.

Carla a strong women great actress having to deal with her dopey nephew someone she doesn't even know.

Corrie really has lost the plot.

Yes! I'm glad you said this. I'm disabled and it infuriates me. They do it with Izzy as well

LonelynSad · 30/12/2023 13:55

So there's no spare rooms in Carla's flat for Bobby as well as Simon. Yet both Ryan and Simon had their own rooms previously?? Poor continuity there, Corrie writers!

FreeAdamsApples · 30/12/2023 14:49

Thank you @eggandonion . I'd prefer Moses to be paired with anyone other than Billy. Or Sean.

So that'll be Todd then 😁

I did find the line that Bobby said when he patted Simon a teensy bit funny but it wasn't memorable enough for me to remember it.

I hate the way one cast memeber leaves and a new or reheaded one enters stage left in the same or next episode. It's so blatantly obvious and detracts from the arsenumbingly boring at the moment story.

I think Ryan had a bedroom (where he did all his onlyfans stuff) and Our Si slept on the sofa (close to the door for all the “leaving” he does).
