I agree, I just can’t believe that Liam, Dylan and Mason are meant to be in the same school year.

Saying that, this bullying storyline has been acted extremely well, form the horrible Mason, suicidal Liam and Dylan who isstuck in the middle.

The Mason actor is 19 IRL. Liam looks about 12. How old are they meant to be ?

Mason isn't too jarring for me. Both my DC had lads in their year who were absolute bears. Huge, hairy behemoths who could have passed for 30. Mine were more in the skinny little creature mould, as if they were a whole generation younger.
Dylan, though, has an old-fashioned look that reminds me of my dad, so it's hard for me to take him seriously as a schoolboy.

Agree with this, they have cast him well.
Some boys look older and will pick on the smaller boys in the year.
Such fantastic acting all round.
