What a show! Julia Roberts is wonderful and comes across as so natural and normal. Cher seemed ok, but I can't get over how ridiculous she looks. She's 77 and not a line on her anywhere. Bonkers.
Timothee Chalamet is an incredible talent - good to see him sharing the stage with his peers and well - Tom Hanks - just a legend!

I haven't heard of Hugh Grant doing a Christian Bale(!). He might have done (he flipped out on the set of Dungeons and Dragons at someone in his eyeline) but am amazed it didn't come out at the time.
Nick Nolte (I love trouble) and Julia didn't get on.

It was reported at the time that Julia and Nick were feuding to the extent they were filming scenes separately! This anecdote, however, was about noise on set whilst filming in the early hours.

Whether he'd be agitated enough or even agree to filming so late, as to suggest driving over Roger Michell, I doubt it. I also can't remember any night scenes in Notting Hill although there must have been some.

There's that scene they jump over the railings to go into the garden but it was just the two of them in that scene whereas on GN she mentioned there were three people in the tantrum scene

I wonder if shes mellowed since she has kind of stepped back to be with her family, she doesnt live in Hollywood or anything. All the gossip is about her early career. Although I believe her and Amal Clooney dont get on.

The rumours are that Amal is just a beard and that the real relationship is between George and Rande (Cindy Crawfords other half)! Amal is a great other half for his political aspirations.

As for Julia, I'd say very fake indeed. She lives in a separate house to her husband. But she's an actress. Remember how she got her husband!

I think Julia Roberts is a good actress and beautiful - that smile !
But I don't like how she got together with her now husband.
He was married and had a child / children.

I also think she is beautiful and seems to mesmerise people but yes, she was awful to the other woman and paid her off. Her siblings had nothing nice to say about her either. But she's America's sweetheart. There were loads of blind items saying she wasnt and that her husband cant stand her hence they live separately!

One hing I will say, shes kept her family life separate, Ive never seen her dc or know nothing about them. Her niece is a real nepo babe though😃

I've seen her daughter who seems really lovely. Emma Roberts was arrested for hitting Evan Peters, her boyfriend.
