I'm enjoying it but it feels a bit too American in parts.

Dubbledup · 29/11/2023 21:03

The one who was nearly vomiting was disgusting. I couldn't watch it

We all thought that was awful to watch.

Wolfofallstreets · 29/11/2023 21:55

I’m on 6 very few players left, I’m really rooting for the two British women, not least, because they’ve pushed the women’s support women agenda – which some of the American women sneakily back down on. But of course anything could happen still.

Jinglealltheway1 · 29/11/2023 23:33

The glass floor challenge had me raging!

YorkshirePuddingBelongs · 29/11/2023 23:37

Where on earth did they go on the glass floor challenge?!

SPOILER FOR EPISODE 9

I was surprised at the final 3. Did we even clap eyes on them before episode 8?!

Once you find out the Red Light Green Light challenge took over 8 hours to film and they were expected to hold poses for up to 45 mins at a time in minus degree temperatures, it takes on a different slant. I wish they had made that more apparent in the show so it looked less ridiculous on screen.

Blueemeraldagain · 29/11/2023 23:39

Also I think if people are sleep deprived and hungry then their emotions will be all over the place.

I do agree it looks silly and histrionic on screen though.

Seriously?! That’s ridiculous

Why on earth did that woman squat though.

Me too!

susiedaisy1912 · 30/11/2023 20:53

I'm watching and really enjoying it. Player 278 has made me so mad she let everyone down on the bridge game.

Stokey · 30/11/2023 21:49

I just watched the first two episodes with my 14 & 11 year old who haven't seen the original and enjoyed it.

I heard Richard Osman talking about how amazing it was this morning so wanted to see. I actually think it's better for my kids as the graves are more interesting if you haven't watched the original.

But yes tongue action was grim and vomiting guy, although I originally felt sorry for him.

I'm interested to see how the factions develop so will watch for that. Hope the alpha males get taken down. We're basically routing for anyone British at the moment.

Wolfofallstreets · 01/12/2023 15:25

Trying not to give away too many spoilers but yes someone behaved VERY badly in glass bridge and then someone else, as a result, didn't go by the spirit of the rules in the dice game. Will be furious of either of them win .. haven't watched episode 9 and avoided spoiler (thanks for putting it at the top OP) so don't yet know who's in the final 3. I think Richard Osman is slightly OTT in his praise, it's fun but it's nothing like as fun as The Traitors for example

I’m not surprised at the final three in that they seem to introduce the real players very late in the day – I guess they must’ve been taking hours of footage of everyone because they had no idea who is going to win, too much chance involved

cakeorwine · 01/12/2023 19:27

I enjoyed it. It's psychologically interesting - and interesting game theory. Having to pick people to eliminate, volunteering yourself.

The phone one was interesting. He should have said "432" on the phone and walked away. Then that would have left "432" wondering what was going on and whether he should have picked the phone up.

KinS24 · 01/12/2023 20:52

I am enjoying it although would prefer more games than all the relationship tedium as the contestants are all so wet and irritating.
YOU GAAT THIS! YOU GAAT THIS! For rolling a dice.
My sweepstake entry is manipulative Vietnamese (?) lady.

Goatymum · 01/12/2023 21:31

Am up to date - the last game v Traitors reminiscent- very clever!
Thought the glass bridge was brutal, the one who took more jumps than they should’ve & the annoying one…

PaperSky · 01/12/2023 21:32

I’m absolutely loving it.
And the fake shooting is strangely affecting me more than the shooting ever did on the main show.

sammieglides · 01/12/2023 23:01

I think it improved as the number of people reduced. The person on the bridge didn't play fair by making someone else take extra jumps.

I liked the box giving task best, and I thought the picnic was a clever thing. Trying not to give spoilers.

I'd also like that person to win.

cakeorwine · 02/12/2023 21:00

I can see why someone got nominated in the dice game - and I can't see why everyone got upset at her actions. I bet the person who got nominated would have done the same thing had she been first up.

It is all game theory and psychology which is fascinating to watch

sammieglides · 02/12/2023 21:07

Yes I can see why she nominated that person, but it was like everyone had forgotten what had happened in the previous game.

reesewithoutaspoon · 02/12/2023 22:19

Does anyone think Phil getting both right in circle of trust a bit suss. His blindfold didn't cover his nose fully so he could have looked down at the desk through the gap either side of his nose. Wouldn't be hard to guess from hands as the people left would all be pretty distinctive

pregnantmum36 · 02/12/2023 22:28

@reesewithoutaspoon yes I thought this. Or he could hear them coming!

KatieKat88 · 02/12/2023 22:30

@reesewithoutaspoon I don't know, he seemed genuinely shocked both times that he got it right. Plus then he gave the final box and got away with it - I want him to win now, that was amazing

reesewithoutaspoon · 03/12/2023 00:26

It just looks like he could potentially see the desk.
