I'm hoping they'll say on tonight's show, no elimination this week, Nigel back next week (possibly).

I think they will do this, and pop tomorrows group dance/celeb singer on to fill the time where Nigel should've been dancing.

As far as I know, you can't get a by this late in the series because it would be unfair. Wrt a two-person final. The Rose and John year, at least they were both incredibly good dancers, both popular so there was at least some question about who would win. A two-person final with Ellie and Layton will be dull because we all know Ellie will win. I mean I want her to win because she's great but it'll be dull because no matter how lovely the dances we'll all just be waiting for her getting the glitter ball at the end.

My take on it, up until today, was that it was almost certainly going to be a (well deserved) win for Ellie but that we couldn't rule out Annabel. A three-person final with those two and Layton would at least have had some level of "Will Annabel come from behind? Will Ellie see it through to the end?" There'll be none of that now.
