I like proper endings. If you are in the bottom two, dance again and the judges vote you out then fair enough, but I’d struggle with these medical drop outs, I’d always wonder how much further I could have got 🙁.

As I understand it there are no byes allowed after week 10, I think if Nigel could dance next week I'd rather that rule was relaxed

Tony is a bit of an odd one out there because he withdrew before doing a dance off which he would certainly have lost.

I didn't include Kelly Brook as she's already been back for Xmas Strictly, both solo and group iirc.
I suppose third time lucky.
Jimmy Tarbuck like Robert had heart issue I think, so he wouldn't be back even for a slow waltz.
Will Young and Amanda I think it probably did leave a bad taste in their mouths, he didn't come back for the final either but that said, neither did Robert Webb and there was no bad blood between him and Dianne. I was surprised he didn't cameo tbh.

I also think it was a bit weird that Robert ghosted the show so completely when on the face of it he had a completely straightforward medical withdrawal. The whole deal with the group number in the final is that they choreograph to the celebs' ability or lack thereof.

Expect the producers know what a draw Nigel is to their core audience demographic and will frantically trying to find a way to bring him back in. Such a shame if he really is too unwell to continue at all.

Nigel has a rib injury and has pulled out of tonight’s show….. is it just tonight or is he out altogether?

Surely the BBC can't risk anyone else getting injured now, so hopefully they will cancel the elimination tomorrow. Rumours are they are cancelling it but don't think it's confirmed yet.

Can't say I'm bothered, I thought Nigel was very overrated.

I'm just happy we won't have to look at Katya's plastered smile for the next few weeks 😬
