Anyone else watching. She looks great for 90 and still so sharp of mind.

'old fashioned views'.. she is 90 FFS.

I saw her stage show a few weeks ago and she was hilarious.
Didn’t mince her words and looked as glamorous as I ever
She admitted that she was doing the shows for the money.
Her diction is beautiful

I think men my age are too old for me often (43) 😅
Loved the way she pushes her hair back to expose neck - the kind of gesture I always wished I had learnt to do. Effortless flirting.

Another Joan, born in the same year, did rather a lot of obvious cosmetic surgery and her face looked stretched to the limit! Joan Rivers, of course. She said " I've had so much plastic surgery when I die they'll donate my body to Tupperware!"

JC probably had something done a while ago but has some jowls and lines now. Still a looker and great for her age. Blessed with beauty and a great figure for sure and a testament to wearing a hat in the sun.

She must've been so hot in her wig! She's had face lifts but no fillers or Botox but the looks of things. I thought she was rude personally, she's not familiar with the word please, is she?

Although she denies it I definitely think she has had some work done her cheeks are so smooth.

It made me laugh when she said she couldn't date anyone older than her

I thought that she was fabulous! Really witty and takes no prisoners. She is obviously a strong woman and was unwilling to put herself in the role of victim even with her obviously horrendous first marriage.

There was a shot of her with her hair under a hat and very little makeup on and she looked beautiful.

I always remember one of her beauty / slimming tips (that is what they were called) in a magazine probably over 50 years ago. When going on a long haul plane trip take a couple of sleeping tablets with a glass of champagne so that you sleep through the whole flight and aren't tempted to eat anything!

On a sidenote, people started real life so much earlier in past generations. For good and ill, no doubt, but it's an interesting subject.

There were times I thought she verged on the rude. But she's probably earned that right.

I really liked Percy, funny and self-deprecating.

"I have friends my own age but don't find them interesting". Ouch.

Percy isn't ageing too well.

She’s not my kind of person in so many ways and her politics are certainly very different to mine… but I cant help liking her. I think she’s really funny, a great wit and has a lot of zest for life - hope I’m as lively when I’m 90! (if I’m even here).

I enjoyed it but wish it had gone on for longer, when it finished I wanted more.

Joan Collins is great and has had an interesting career and life.

Her husband seemed really nice.

She comes across as prickly. Thin skinned. She was most put out when she wasn't made a fuss of when she turned up at the restaurant with a film crew in tow. And she didn't like Louis talking to the help at her house.

I can well believe she and Percy do their provincial theatre tours because they need the money. Jackie was the rich one, Joan has always had to hustle.

Why she was made a dame is beyond me.

I thought it was rude not to introduce the woman member of staff.
Don't think Joan is witty at all but I did enjoy watching Percy chuckling away to himself. Jackie was more engaging in my opinion.

Oh, yes, she was taken aback at LT speaking to her assistant.

I'm not a fan of her having had colleagues dealing with her through work many years ago and her attitude and self importance was notorious. I did enjoy watching this though, she has softened a little. Percy really grew on me.

My grandmother had amazing skin and barely a wrinkle when she died in her 90s so I think Joan had been blessed with great genes and possibly a very skilled cosmetic surgeon but definitely no botox or fillers.

I love Joanie, I could have listened to her for hours, gutted when it came to an end. I now want a fan with the words "Fuck off" on it!

No way is she that wealthy. I quite like her, but i can also imagine her being a diva. Mind you, if I reach 90 I will be too!

I think the walk showed her more as she is- definitely frailer, and the "visor" shots are more revealing of her older face and body than the perhaps more staged sofa ones. Plus - despite the no doubt rigorous exercise and diet she'll have done all her life - there was a pronounced tum.

Which is reassuring! She's 90 and looks and acts amazing and her face is far more fluid and natural than, say, the much younger Carol Volderman or Joan Collins. Her eyes are still lovely - horrible things happen to eyes as you get older and can "disappear" so she makes the most of them.

I adore Percy! Always laughing and clearly loving and accepting her as she is. And better, now he himself looks a little older himself too

Isn't it sad that we're scrutinising an elderly woman for signs of ageing and frailty?

Are we reading the same thread? Everyone is saying how amazing she looks for her age, and wondering how she does it. The exact opposite of what you are suggesting.
