Common sense really is lacking, Jane- this match could go on another hour. It's not like they are playing somewhere reasonably cool- it's midnight there, and still hot and humid.

Pat Rafter was one one my favourites, in the post Edberg/pre Rafa period. .

He was lovely to watch.

Other rules also annoy me, because Rafa can't be late back from the loo-but Sheila and Bruce can take ages finding a seat between games, a whilst the players hang around waiting .

So, who are the rules benefitting? The spectators don't mind taking ages, so why should they be bothered if the players do?

This feels like deja vu- Rafa lost against Stef at AO, when he missed an overhead- and had the match almost won at that point.

This feels like it will go the same way.

Those match points for Rafa really were the problem. He never recovered properly in the 3rd set.

I don't blame him for keeping them waiting- he must be shattered, and hasn't been allowed off court since the first set. Make 'em wait, Jordan!

Jordan is really nice- I've always liked his twinkly eyes. .

He will need to recover well to play Grigor next, but the crowds will definitely be behind him on that one.
Holger plays early on, so doubt I will see that one, but might be awake to score watch some of it.
