Well, that's my ear worm for the day!

Merry Christmas (almost) to all.

I am suffering with really bad lower back/hip pain (that I thought was connected to the kidney stones problem but isn't) and dosed up on pain killers- so that's adding to the festive fun.

So, today, I really am not planning to do anything much. Anything last minute can wait til tomorrow. .

'Jesus Christ Superstar' is on the Tv- which seems an odd choice for a Christmas film- I associate it with Easter. 'King of Kings' was on yesterday. If they show 'The Robe' on Boxing day, I will know someone at BBC2 has got the months wrong

Just watched Rafa’s Christmas message on Instagram - I didn’t understand any of it apart from Manacor and Feliz Navidad - it was nice to see him though

I’ve prepped for tomorrow as much as I can and watched the Snowman (and had some wine!) so feeling a bit more festive now - didn’t watch the Sound of Music (which for some reason I think of as an Easter film)

Fizzy there's definitely a conspiracy to show 'Easter' type films this year- just to mess with my head .

I have done the Christmas prep- peeled spuds watching 'Polar Express', made DD2 watch the Muppets.

I have even shaved my legs. they were hairier than the dog.

We're having takeway pizza for tea, as if the tradition here . (Last year, we had been out- made the mistake of going to McDonalds. Total disaster- waited over an hour for food. We liv 5 minutes away- and were itting in thecar park. Can't do that this year- DD1 works at the McDonald's ).

Dh is now picking ds up tomorrow at 12 ish, when he goes to get Bil. So, he will have to open presents after we've eaten.
The girls are flatly refusing to wait for him, to open theirs.

Feliz Navidad(which reminds me I need to do Duolingo today ).

I watched the Royal Carols this morning which meant I could fast forward through all the crap singers.

DH got me two tennis themed books for Christmas - he’s a keeper!!

Hope everyone has survived the Christmas festivities - went to my dad's on Boxing day, so doing nothing today, if I can get away with it .

The dog got yet another reindeer themed toy- we already have a Rafa , Roger and Robbie (Roberto)- this one is Ruud(olph).

'Gone with the Wind' is on the tv- this is a real 'Christmas week' film, and one I remember watching when pg with d, 21 years ago- a couple of days before he was born. I'm waiting for 'Zulu'. (that's usually on on my birthday).

Brisbane starts Sunday- haven't worked out if I will be able to watch (and the time difference will be difficult anyway) but fingers crossed Rafa can get through some matches uninjured!

I survived Christmas - hope everyone else did! It went ok actually, the food was nice, everyone behaved (even my awkward sister!) - I should have made it rubbish as they’ll probably all want to come again next year!

the weather is awful here - I’m still in bed! Might have some chocolate for breakfast and see what films are on - I’ve got to log on for work tomorrow which is a bit rubbish so I need to make he most of today (if I manage to get out of bed!)

Eek - I’m quite nervous about Rafa’s return in Brisbane - he’s looking nice and strong on his insta posts but he’s not played competitively for nearly a year - fingers crossed he’ll be ok (and that I manage to see him)

Fizzy my birthday is Saturday(30th)- ds's is Friday. I had got 21st banners and things for the house, but he isn't coming back here now . I will get balloons and stuff for the restaurant though .
It's horrible weather here today- I thought it was going to be frosty - it was at about 2am! And now it's just wet .

I'm losing track of the days as usual- dd2 finished for the holidays so early, she is back in school in a week .

Oh yes I remember you also have a week of birthdays Raahh - a bit like us in May - hope that you and DS enjoy your birthdays -21 - time flies!

I’m still in bed - I ought to get up and do something useful or maybe not

I am still in my pjs- and I rarely do that. But I just can't be bothered today. Dh and the dog were out for about 10 minutes before they both had enough

Today is a day for staying indoors

Horrible weather here too. I’m working today (and tomorrow and Friday) but luckily I don’t have to actually go anywhere to do so. And as almost everyone else is off it’s very quiet so am just using the time to catch up on admin so it’s not too bad.
