Watched some of the Davis Cup - Jack Draper played really well but just didn’t do enough in the tiebreaks - had a few double faults

I wasn’t going to watch the Djok match as I thought it would be an annihilation but it doesn’t seem to be going all his way - he is about to go 5-3 in the first set against Norris though!

GB might not need the doubles - the GB bucket hats are very popular though - somebody must be making a profit

Saw most of the second set. Tough on Draper because, although he's our no2 player, he's the one with all the pressure. Everyone expects Norrie to lose, so no pressure on him. I turned it off immediately after the Draper loss. I'm guessing Salisbury and Skupsi won't even play. Saw Dan in the crowd with his girlfriend. Don't know if Andy bothered turning up. Some very scary looking Serbs in the crowd. Looked like Djok's henchmen

Not a good result for GB but Draper and Norrie played well - why does Djok do that annoying chin jut thing when he wins?

Apparently he got into an argument with some British fans afterwards when their band started playing to drown out his post match interview - oh dear

The* *GB band started playing as he was about to be interviewed, so he reacted in kind, having already had a ding dong with another heckler. It is a Davis Cup tie. What does he expect? You can't imagine Roger or Rafa reacting like this. So much for being a 'senior statesman'

Just been listening to the tennis podcast - apparently Dan Evans was suitably refreshed while watching the Davis Cup as a fan

He was twirling his bucket hat around and joining in with the crowd - hope he was one of the people heckling Djok

TennisTV have shared a post on instagram which is photos of tennis players now and when they were younger. Jannik and Andrey both had splendid heads of hair!

Saw that it’s now confirmed that all the tennis is going to Sky next year. Expected but still so disappointing. Sky is terrible value for money unless you want to watch football and Formula 1.
