Fizzy if it was the last event, it does explain why every man and his dog wa commentating.
Apart from Wispa, at least we seemed to be spared her last week.
I have grown used to the Prime coverage, and the small amount of Sky coverage i had at the US open did not compare to being able to watch every match. I can't justify a full package <oo-er> though- and no doubt, bits won't be on Sky anyway, and we will be expected to pay for Tennis Tv or something else on top.
I am very nervous about Rafa returning. I have missed watching him play, but the younger playerss have improved so much this year- that it will be harder to come back and match their level. He will give a good go- and I don't think he's expecting much. I just don't want him drawing Djok or bloody Kyrgios in the first round of a slam, and losing. Never hear the end of that. (His protected ranking will allow him to qualify- but he won't be seeded).
I think, for a last hurrah, he should be seeded at RG. Wimbledon set the precedent when they seeded Serena, after her mat leave. (Not that I agreed with that at the time I am a hypocrite
).
