I have always liked George. He has a lot of character.

I finally caught up on it all.

My take on Luke is that he wants to be going out having all the girls throwing themselves at him and he really thinks that will happen because he's been on the telly. He does like Jay but that's not enough. He wants to think of himself as a stud.

Hence why he is so jealous of Jordan who commands more attention because he's a nice looking lad who dresses well and would get attention regardless.

I watched Erica shouting at Jordan again and he looked so baffled because he was saying but I did tell you, all the fellas were talking about it, you knew that. She just kept shouting over him so someone must have told her to do that. To me Jordan looks like he was raised in a don't answer me back household so he clams up or gets sullen. When he tries to speak he gets shouted down (by Erica) or given a slap (by Luke) and he ends up looking like the bad guy.

Luke is just plain nasty and I hope Jay meets a lovely man who deserves her.

I don't know what to think of the Matt/Shona thing.

I think you're all dangerous enablers. I've only carried on watching this shite because of these threads. And for that, I thank you all 😃

I gave up watching a couple of weeks back, tried to watch the reunion but after ten minutes decided these people are utter *** and not worth my time. I think I'm done with this show. Boiling it down to people fighting with barely anyone actually there to look for anything beyond fame has just ruined it. Plus letting Ella and JJ back in after the Ixperts told them to leave was pathetic. And sorry but I didn't sign up to watch Ella's fucking story. I seriously don't care.

The funny thing is if they'd actually shown Ella's true story it would have been fascinating ie thought surgery would solve all problems; realised it didn't; find their dating pool to be small; difficulty with real relationships; using alcohol and sex to self medicate and for validation.
There's a lot to unpick in Ella's 'reality'.
But instead they went for a shiny, HEA version even when we could all see what was unfolding right in front of us was something very different. They went for irresponsible, agenda-pushing bullshit instead of actually helping Ella. They could have been a sobering reminder of what being trans is like away from the social media filtered propaganda.

I clicked in to Ella's insta live last night (with Laura, Tasha and....it was a bloke, i honestly can't remember...clearly so impactful!!) and it was basically them desperately trying to read any nice messages about themselves and implying Arthur wasn't ill at all ie he just couldn't be arsed to go to the final filming. Tasha has recently had an operation on her arm and was swigging from a bottle of rose. Class. But also very dull.

Aww I've finally finished this series, and this thread.That series of MAFS felt like a bloody marathon! Have loved my thread read alongs, even if I haven't posted much, I've had a lot of laughs from the comments!

I'm not keen on Matt at all now, there's something about him that seems rigid and unbending (not in that way 😂😂😂). And I never liked Shona 😂 Perhaps they deserve each other! Shona looked like she'd had something done to her face (as well as all the fake tan!!), she looked a bit odd. Don't know if anyone else noticed?

Glad Brad got told (weeks too late, mind you).

Oh I clicked onto this too hoping for something juicy but it was so boring. I think it’s telling that JJ was the most interesting one there!

I'm back to the thread out of habit and there is nothing else to say now that it is over, but you helluva women have made MAFS far more enjoyable than the actual programme. Thank you for the laffs.

It’s a relief it’s over. We watched every episode and I’ve followed all these most excellent threads. As well as the laughs from you all, there’s been heaps of very wise observations.

I’ve come away from this series of MAFS, hating Laura, loving Arfur, loving Thomas and disliking weirdo Roz, being seriously scared of snake man, but glad the ixpirt Paul finally called him out, I fear for Paul, as I think Tasha is a nasty, mean person, I found Adrienne as false in her personality as her looks, I think they were all scared of being judged transphobic, especially JJ, who ended up as a rabbit in the headlights sobbing tears of relief at final vows. I ended up liking Georges and Peggy, which has surprised me. I loved Jay the most and hated Luke the most. Luke is a beautiful name, which he did not deserve.

The dress sense, the lips and Ella have all been too much, so yes relieved it’s finished. Thanks to everyone on these threads especially the legend Sheldon. ❤️

Have loved checking into this thread, thankyou for your humour and for saying all the things I think too, felt like being in a secret breakout WhatsApp group at work or something with like minded women.

My last thought re MAFS is that I think Laura was totally trying to brand herself, make herself a meme, a character, some kind of iconic woman, when she acted the bitch to Arthur at the end.
A cynical last ditch attempt to create a niche career for herself afterwards as the rent a sassy tell it like it is woman slot on Z list TV shows.
