MAFSUK 10 - it puts the filler in its skin or else it gets the hose again. It rubs the shiny lotion on its skin - it does this whenever it is told. It should really have just put the lotion in the basket and not their face … precious.

Would you fuck me? I’d fuck me. Just not Ella. JJ Gumb.

You can shove Laura’s Chelsea henchwomen in your well tae…

They're proper working class done well
I reckon. Nothing wrong with that, but they have an odd idea about what posh looks like - napkins in glasses for example. All I could see in that house was potential dust. Must be a bugger to clean.

That table made me think they had a housekeeper/cleaner (who doesn't do silver service obviously!) who comes in the morning and sets the table for the rest of the day.
Mama and PapaPeggy probably don't go back in there until their evening meal but because they had to grill TwoGeorges somewhere, they all ended up sitting at a table set for dinner/tea/whatever people in Tudor houses call their evening meal.

TitsInAbsentia · 07/11/2023 11:02

Does Ros not realise you can have a family and a dog/horse/budgie and still have a partner? Seems like she was quite happy to use Thomas to alleviate her boredom, I can only imagine she's going to say that tonight.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 07/11/2023 11:02

I think if Georges reveals he is utterly minted old money, papa pie will be grafting to get him back.

The prawn sandwich was 99p, as were the cheapest Ratner trinkets.

Quality stuff!

I think the thing Ros can't bring herself will be that she's written leave.

TitsInAbsentia · 07/11/2023 11:31

Sadly I think it probably is that dull!

JaneJeffer · 07/11/2023 11:32

I think it's that she doesn't like eggs.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 07/11/2023 11:33

Maybe she prefers sausage?

Now that she's home the full English is off the menu

MelsMoneyTree · 07/11/2023 11:44

Shall we take bets on who is bailing tonight? Or trying to bail because their partners might keep them there. I'm going for Ros and JJ.

Despite his friends telling him to run, Paul will want to stay. And despite Ros chucking him out of her house, Thomas will want to stay hoping he can recapture the heady first days when Ros admitted she tried him out for sex but still had no spark with him.
Erica and Jordan will bicker to the bitter end ie the final commitment/marriage ceremony.
Ella will write stay until they wrestle the pen out of her taloned hands.
Laura will write stay because she knows Arthur would be good for her and she has moments where she thinks she can stand against the snobbery of the Chelsea set.
Tash will write stay because she thinks this is a competition and she wants to win.
Adrienne will write stay because she likes a pub meal and Matt's mum.
TwoGeorges and Peggy will write stay because their relationship obviously has nothing at all in common with what we see on screen.

I'll come back tomorrow and see how wrong I was about it all.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 07/11/2023 11:46

Shame re the full English jane . She could have had each component on a separate fucking plate going by the table settings…😈

Did anyone else notice that Tasha and Paul's mum each have a matching discoloured front tooth?

@SheldonesqueTheBstard MAFS could start a merchandise line Peggy's Plates

Aaah that would be an amazing reveal wouldn't it. Right after she says leave he reveals that he was about to propose with the Cullinan diamond but never mind, he won't disrespect her decision.

Turquoisesea · 07/11/2023 12:02

Agreed, it would be brilliant if they showed Georges at the end of the series sitting on a yacht in the south of France with his families huge villa in the backdrop. I would love it if he is absolutely loaded after all. Peggy was impressed by his flat and they had a bit of “physical intimacy” (but no shagging). Her head would blow off if she found out he was rich. I bet daddy would be encouraging her then, she would be on the first plane over there! She wouldn’t give a fuck about the squatting or gaming then!

Newestname002 · 07/11/2023 12:12

If he's got any sense, Georges should vote Leave at the first opportunity. A life with Peggy alone would be bad enough, as he wouldn't know if he was coming or going, but he'd be in a vice with those, frankly, awful rough types her parents appear to be. Who would have thought I'd have any sympathy with Georges, looking at his earlier introduction ? 🌹

Paul’s friends waited until Tasha was out of the room to say what they really felt. When Paul said he really likes her they supported him even though they had misgivings. Compare this with Laura’s disrespectful friends.

I am convinced that Paul’s comment about Tasha being a little girl was a genuine mistake (and I am usually the first to pick up on misogyny). He was grandstanding a bit to his friends - quite immature, but her over the top reaction shows that she doesn’t really know or understand him and isn’t mature enough herself to react without aggression.

She's just awful. I'm a bit scared of her and I'm scared for Paul. I liked that his friends told him to run.

I thought it really funny at first, but now gives me the creeps a bit... 🌹

I know , I used to live there and did for most of my life! Yes it’s a London borough, although the address still class it as Kent . It’s more London though granted!

But there are rural places not to far from there going the other way towards Kent, perhaps they live somewhere there? There are some village type places within 20 minutes

Edited

Could be Cudham, or out that way (not far from me!). Peggy's parents are uncouth and rude, and Georges's manners are impeccable. He showed them up!

I grew up in Kent, there are lots of houses like that. It's a pretty county!

sep135 · 07/11/2023 13:46

Mama and PapaPeggy probably don't go back in there until their evening meal but because they had to grill TwoGeorges somewhere, they all ended up sitting at a table set for dinner/tea/whatever people in Tudor houses call their evening meal.

Surely an occasion best hosted in one's drawing room darling? 'Twas terribly déclassé in the dining room.

Without wishing to be too harsh, I can see where Peggy gets her vacantness from. As PPs put it so aptly, the mum from Gavin and Stacey but without the lights on. Her mum seemed in a perpetual daze while her dad went through his 1850s interrogation of the prospective husband.

Give me Roz's nice, normal parents any day (excluding the sex chat which was a bit icky).

I've just realised that Peggy worked at one of my old companies. I might have to undertake some ritual purging to perish that thought.

Just watched last night's again. Hard to give it full undivided attention when also on this thread! But no way am I missing the thread going down live, so to speak.
Observations this time -
PegMa and Pa's house looks cold with the cracked teeny tiny window panes, clearly not double glazed, and the way PegMa got INTO bed to talk to Peg only reinforces that.
Fake flowers everywhere in the PegHouse
Dining room had some interesting things in it, looked like an old piano out of a pub.
PegPa is not the sharpest brain, was not able to say 'keep her in the manner to which she's become accustomed' and fudged badly.
Wondering if they got the house after a lottery win. PegPa looks like he was a physical rather than a cerebral grafter.

Roz panicking at the baby comments from TomMa. Don't think she meant next week, Roz! Chill! If Roz cannot put her partner higher priority-wise than family and animals, then what the actual hack is she doing on this show?
Tom is such a gent. Even when being let down, he doesn't argue or strop. Just maintains his dignity. You are a prize for some lucky lady, Tom.

Tasha, you're very Leeds.
PaulMa - you're going to have to let him have his life at some point. Saying he can't move away is not the way to keep your family close.
Tasha and Paul - you want 4 kids do you? Maybe have one first and see how that goes.

And what is it with everyone being prepared to move to Manchester?

That'll do for now 😂
