ive Just put it on as I got stuck out.

betty is not a betty, and she’s not that old either.

VegetablesFightingToReclaimTheAubergieneEmoji · 23/10/2023 15:09

Is it a turning point as it’s the first time we’ve seen compassion from Al

FuzzyPuffling · 23/10/2023 16:00

I thought that bout "Betty" too.
Writer: Old woman...hmmmm Betty or Enid?

She was a Susan, Carol or Marion at a push.

BrendaMcPherson · 23/10/2023 16:29

I really hope Al gives his bedroom a good airing. I'd be flinging those windows open as it looks like it would smell very sweaty and farty in there.

That's a Scout song, not Brownies.
We just did knots and our Hostess badge.

We used to sing it all the time in Brownies!

Finishingoff · 23/10/2023 17:01

Wendi Peters is so hammy in this. I find her acting style really odd.

His white duvet is still looking remarkable clean and ironed though

Raahh · 24/10/2023 08:56

I'm not buying into Al having white duvet covers at all ,
He's a bloke who plays games like a 20 something student. He would have a grey or black duvet cover, or one with a geometric design. (That his mother bought, when he first left home) Or Star Trek. This is a man that has several jumpers -all the same colour, so he can do minimal laundry- he's not going to be wanting to keep a white duvet clean.

Raahh · 24/10/2023 08:57

And talking of games/comics etc- why has his Comic store date not contacted him? And never been mentioned again?

Did he not break his phone in the attack? Unless she knew him via a game or where he worked she may not be able to?

Oh that's true.Grin

I want her to come back though- I don't like angry Al - and now we know the show is ending, I like what they have done to him even less. Sad

martinisforeveryone · 24/10/2023 10:54

It’s really bugged me that the date’s never been mentioned. I suppose deliberately to emphasise Al’s isolation.

The attackers stamped on his phone, but Jimmy got it fixed didn’t he.

I also want to know what’s happening A with the investigation and B Al’s super mega home security. It’s like everything’s been abandoned.

Exactly this. 😂

Nina really doesn't want to be a partner

No, she wants world domination 😄

VegetablesFightingToReclaimTheAubergieneEmoji · 24/10/2023 12:17

Al also wouldn’t have those long flowery curtains, it would be blinds.

Raahh · 24/10/2023 13:48

Oh- so Zara did take Joe out in term time!

Sidisawetlettuce · 24/10/2023 13:48

Religious nutter alert. And I say that as a practising Catholic.

doctorsnoddy · 24/10/2023 13:49

Oh so Zara did take Joe out of School. Bad Mothet!

VegetablesFightingToReclaimTheAubergieneEmoji · 24/10/2023 13:49

I thought Joe was in private school? And I thought private schools didn’t care so much

Sidisawetlettuce · 24/10/2023 13:50

Yes I thought as long as they got their fees paid, private schools couldn't care less.

FuzzyPuffling · 24/10/2023 13:50

Practising C of E ...and I agree.
I really wish they'd stop with this negative stereotyping.

VegetablesFightingToReclaimTheAubergieneEmoji · 24/10/2023 13:52

oh Al. Poor Betty, talk about going above and beyond

MadisonAvenue · 24/10/2023 13:53

I thought Zara had made quite a thing about half term coming up.
