Yes @JaneJeffer Gerry was a great character. Why oh why do they get rid of popular characters who can actually act, but keep useless ones that nobody can stand.

I can't remember it happening so much before but there seem to be weeks go by when we don't see characters - atm it's The Andersons, Wendy - not that I'm complaining but it seems an odd way of doing things.

They do block filming now @RaraRachael so only a certain set of characters in each block which ruins the village feel

Ah thanks @JaneJeffer it leads to a very stilted view of the village as if certain people never interact with others. I remember they did something like that during lockdown but I can't see the need for it now,

It's really annoying. I love on Classic how everyone reacts to stuff that happens and they all end up in the pub together. The actors probably love it though!

So much about Classic is miles better than current Emmerdale. It's sad how much it's deteriorated in 20 years - storylines, filming, quality of acting. I can't think of anything that's better tbh.

Yes they do. From what I remember, they live next door to Charity and if I’m right, that’s the house that Chris Tate gave to Terry in Classic but I’m not that great on who lives in which house
