Bodie and Doyle from the Professionals. That one caused a whole universe of fanfic.

I also think Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee had chemistry.

I realised sometime in my, er, forties that watching Bodie & Doyle as a teenager was fairly formative for me in modelling comrades in arms (need not literally be arms - we aren't all government agents....) as an attractive relationship type.

The Star Trek showrunner (who was allegedly a bit of a dick) apparently asked the actors to tone the whole Garak and Bashir chemistry down a bit, and got the writers to give them fewer scenes together, because he didn't want a gay relationship in the show.
