Has anyone listened to the episode of MAFS Hysteria with the couple from the season that was trimmed down to fewer couples because of Covid?
So interesting!
4 of the couples matched that time stayed together. Most weren't on the show at all, but were given each other's details to get in touch anyway.
That couple seemed lovely. They have a baby.
The thing that interested me was that they were saying that the producers were under huge pressure that year to make them successful because they needed some proper results to make it worth making more series.
So they did really, really thorough testing on them. They interviewed their exes and their family and friends and did psychometric tests coming out of their ears.
And it worked, in the main.
But then the Aussie series was aired and was massive, so they just changed format instead.
Goes to show it can be done if the leg work is put in and real people with pure motives are involved.
This show is an entirely different beast.
