In the opener, her catering job at a high-end health club gets complicated when two bodies turn up at the spa and her niece becomes the prime suspect. As Mrs. Sidhu investigates, she invariably butts heads with the gruff Inspector Burton (Craig Parkinson), who has no use for this busybody. Until he does.

I tried to find it in catch up on the Drama channel but couldn't.

Ooh it’s channel 20 on Freeview. Apparently it was a Radio 4 series from 2017-19, also starring Meera Syal.

It's going around the houses a bit so far. I hadn't realised it's two hours at a time. Will have to watch Race Around the World tomorrow.

I tried watching this on the catchup for Drama , UKTVPlay , but the quality was awful, kept sticking and the words didn't match their mouths ! It wasn't as good as I thought , anyway , seemed a bit amateurish .

Even FF-ing through the ads, that was a bit of a slog.

I managed 20 minutes then decided life's too short

I've watched the whole first episode. It does get better - could have shaved half of the episode but was enjoyable enough overall. Reminds me of MacDonald and Dodd - first time I watched it, I thought it was overly long but it grew on me. Think this is worth giving a go.

(I have never seen Madame Blanc but think it might be a series that I'd also enjoy.)
