I don't think her being trans is the real issue. I think she just comes across all about looks, looks, outfits, make up, and has no apparent depth. I'd find that horribly unattractive in any partner. Can she not talk about anything else??

And I think that not being able to address the issue, is actually making everything worse. Being able to say "I do not find you attractive because your are not a biological woman" should be enough. You can not just bully people into having sex with someone, no matter how offended they might get.

Because she sees finding love as 'winning'. And they fell in love first so they must be an aspirational couple. The fact that people aren't begging to know their secret doesn't make sense to her because they have smashed it and left everyone behind in the dust.
