As hostage situations go, that was as dumb as they come, even by Neighbours standards. To think they had the opportunity to kill off Melanie (death by butter knife) and they didn’t take it! 😫

For a lawyer Toadie sure does like to flout the law!

I did kind of hope it was wrong about Paul. The daft sod wont help himself will he?

I love how the police taped off the street and kept everyone at a distance while Toady just sprayed some air freshener 😂

I'm a bit pissed off that they are most likely going to split Toadie and Terese up, mostly because i cant bloody stand Mel, was she this annoying in her original run? Because i remember quite liking her first time around. Also Terese is far too good for Paul. After sending Eden after a pregnant Krista, I kind of want him to get rinsed by Chelsea. Or taken to the cleaners by Reece (just so long as they don't bring her character back) and the Sinclairs.

When Eden call Mel stupid. Yup!

I don’t want Mel and Toadie back together because it just makes Toadie and Terese’s marriage plot pointless. And then will we have Terese pining after him whilst with Paul? I just want this whole plot to end and I don’t think ending Toadie and Terese is the answer.

Also Holly calling the police was just calling Andrew. Surely you would ring 000?

She was awful back then though. I know it was so that you were meant to route for Brad and Lauren but he was a twat too.

Delurking to agree. It would be completely ridiculous for Toadie and Therese to break up and Toadie to get back with Mel.

I did not root for Brad and Lauren. I am still annoyed with them for having an affair behind Beth’s back 😄

I don’t remember Mel being this annoying back in the day, her character was a sort of comic relief. Why did she even break up with Joe? They were perfect for each other.

Why the hell isn't Melanie just leaving? Eden is in not state to stop her. Just before he slashed her, she had access to the front door 😑

I agree - I want Toadie & Therese to stay together. I think they're a much better couple than Mel & Toadie. She annoyed me when she was in it the first time round & she annoys me more now!

Toadie and Therese are a terrible couple! They’ve only just got married but she’s jealous of him helping his ex after she’s been kidnapped (they probably don’t know how lame and unconvincing it was 😂) and he’s jealous of her supporting her ex through the grief of losing a son.

I did think they were going to split and get back with Mel and Paul, but after the Eden stuff I’m not sure there’s a way back for P & T?

I think their jealousy is understandable though. Don’t forget when they got together they both thought that Mel had walked out because she didn’t care, and tht Paul ditched Therese because he didn’t want to marry her. Now they both found out that both those partners still desperately love T and T, and walked away to do the right thing by them. Which is essence means the marriages shouldn’t have ended and therefore of course this means T and T’s feeling for their exes are not as clear cut as first thought when they got together and married each other. I think they’re a really good couple, just that circumstances mean that things are v complex for them. (And of course they got together too quickly)

Agree jealousy is understandable but I thought Therese inadvertently gave M hope when she said I won't let you steal him from me or some such meaning Theresa chance she could. Don't blame her for being rattled after Mel was so goady about sharing

I don’t blame them for being jealous at all, but I just think they rushed into marriage before they’d ’got over’ their exes and it’s not a good basis for any relationship.
and I think the return of Mel, and Paul’s grief are going to highlight their own issues with each other

loved these episodes. Apart from naked paul bleurgh. Had to turn away!

It looked like David did his own stunt and the pp confirmed it! It looked impressive!

dd thought it was brutal too that David was off the credits so quick.

And i actually liked how Mackenzie just went and sat quietly with Aaron.

Did Sadie see Eden the day he escaped? Surely this is a massive plot hole. It can’t have been before then as he was on the run after the vineyard thing and had Krista who Paul knew nothing about.

So Sadie saw Eden and did nothing?

Or is it that she didn’t realise it was him until the jumper?

She only saw the back of his jumper at the time, I think, and recognised it after he accidentally left it at the Kennedys' during the siege. It's hot work waving tiny weapons around so he must have taken it off, careless boy.

All clear in today’s ep. Probably because I wasn’t on my phone at the same time.

Why is Toadie discussing Therese with Mel? That's a pretty big betrayal right there, more so than Therese popping off to check in on Paul. Just let Toadie and Therese be happy for a bit while we are all still getting used to them being together. Let your audience have a chance to care about them before you go round breaking them up for the incredibly annoying exes.

On an other note, I love Aaron/Matty. He is playing the grieving husband really well and he's....cough....hot.
