I'm sad that this year, for the first time in about 20 years, I don't have to do a pumpkin. DD2 doesn't want to bother. I might do a small one for the dog.

When it comes to 'picking' them, we only get as far the local Asda, or Sainsbury's , if I'm feeling adventurous. .

I am watching Hubi/ Lajovic- but noticed the scores of the Big Foe /Dan match- Dan was 4-1 up but retired from the match? Not sure what the story is on that one.

Hmm I’m not sure what happened to Evans - it looks as if he was 4-1 up as well - he is still showing as playing the doubles with Ben Shelton but don’t think that will be happening now

DS has watched it back. Apparently, Dan was 4-1 up and 0-30 on Tiafoe's serve. He ran for a drop shot and his leg just went. Could be a torn calf muscle, he couldn't even walk. He won't be playing doubles and could be out for 6-8 weeks, meaning he now can't play the Davis Cup! Sounded like he was playing well, so a massive shame! He's going to drop down the rankings
