I don’t know about brat, but I don’t think the producers should have accepted her terms, tbh. She’s within her rights to put conditions on her appearance but the producers could have said “no, that won’t work”

After two full series without her, honestly, I think it would have been better without. Have a “goodbye to the best fucking apartment” bouquet sent if you want!

i think the strange thing is how the dues seems to be entirely one sided coming from Kim. SJP has never said anything negative publicly and also has a reputation of being very nice and easy to get along with

of course some people just clash but it does seem to be a mountain out of a molehill.

The producers of AJLT didn't approach her to ask if she wanted to be involved. They missed a trick there. Something better may have been written in from the start if she had indicated she would be involved. I loved her cameo I'm not going to lie but it was obviously shoe horned for the fans.

Only after the first series came out and she publicly said she'd never been asked! I assume they approached her then. Also KC had the benefit of watching a series and seeing the public reception which probably gave her more confidence to be involved.

I enjoyed most of the final episode.

Love Herbert and Lisa. Brilliant together. Would watch a series just of them.
Clothes were brilliant in this episode. Wasn’t keen on Miranda’s dinner coat
Will be happy to see the back of Che and the podcast people. They don’t add anything.
Love the new apartment.
LOVED seeing Samantha back. Acting a bit off in bits but a lovely 60 seconds or so.
Loved the scene with Miranda and Steve with Brady coming in at the end.

As much as the continuity is off and the stories have been a bit shit throughout, I am pleased they’ve renewed for a third series. See you all then!

Much as I love Kim, that cameo was cringeworthy. It just felt so disconnected (it literally was) like she was reading her lines out loud. Whatever happened between them, I do think it’s a bit childish to be behaving like this, you fell out, you don’t like the others, whatever. You’re a professional earning tons of money off a franchise with fans who love you, suck it up, do your job, keep SJP at arms length.

Also, if you hate the other women so much, don’t take the money and stay away. I think that was a slap in the face to SJP, when the head of HBO goes directly to Kim Cattrall with a blank cheque knowing how much bad blood there was between the cast, that must have stung a bit - especially when SJP had to awkwardly act like she was chatting to her bestie on a silent phone!

I forwarded the scene when Nya gets a promotion or whatever, also forwarded scenes alone with Ravi and Seema - really don’t care about the conversations between background characters, I’m here for the originals!

Loved Steve and Miranda’s scene, made me quite emotional, they’ve been through so much and I absolutely love the new Miranda. She’s emerged from Che’s shadow like a new improved person - remember the screechy idiot at the beach in LA who lost her phone? She’s completely moved on. Love Charlotte and Harry too.

Aidan, what can I say. He was a toxic prick to imply that Kathy was never there and brought those boys up as she was travelling and with her boyfriend. I think Kathy may disagree with that. Plus the five year thing, bore off.

Did anyone else think at the end, Carrie didn’t even seem that bothered about him? Let’s hope it was all a big mistake and in S3 he’s stuck in Vermont babysitting teenage boys and a 20 year old (anyone else think that was just an excuse not to commit to life in NY - a 20 yr old needs him?)

Loved her Queen of Hearts outfit plus leggings at the Last Supper, but why is the apartment the same size as a semi detached house and will Lisette please remove the giant flowery teal wallpaper bought from Do It All in 2003?

I also loved the Carrie supper dress, forgot to say!

I really doubt that a 17 and 20 year old would be spending one week here, one week there anymore. Surely the 20 year old would be at uni or working?

Nah, the 5 year thing was bollocks. Anyway, what 14 year old wants their dad glued to their side 24/7?! Therein lies disaster. Surely he needs to spend time with his mum/time with his friends/time developing a few hobbies (if Aidan is there all the time he'll do nothing other than learning how to do a chicken dance or watching Nepal Kapow), not to mention school? Carrie should have said 'yeah, do whatever you need to support your son, but don't expect me to hang around pining for 5 years. If something Big-like comes along, I'm off...'

Liked this series the best. Thank god Miranda is back! The Samantha scene was ok but felt unnatural and I’ve moved on.I don’t find Ravi a genuine character but might just be his acting. Did not need to see Antony grimacing while losing his ‘ass virginity’ 😳tmi!!!
Felt crestfallen about Aiden and Carrie. 5years!!!!! At their age things will change pretty quickly. Was he even saying he’d see her? Didn’t sound like it.

Apparently nothing to do with the producers of the series and everything to do with $1m dollars, a request for PF to style her (proper fuck you to SJP as PF then agreed) her own choice of hair and make up artists etc. apparently was filmed in NYC but lord knows why, it all looked very CGI.

Tbf, I hope I look as good at 67 though.

I’m also dubious as to Carrie jumping into bed with Aiden after his five years ultimatum…

The whole thing is so childish really. We may all occasionally work with people that we really don't like but at least a couple of short scenes could be filmed if you were a professional. Literally shoot the scene and leave without any personal interaction.

But despite all the plot holes that all SATC fans have spotted, I have enjoyed this series and I’ll miss it. Fave moments:

I’m fed up with the important stuff happening off screen. Wyatt goes from typically sulky 14 year old in a bit of a strop about dad’s new girlfriend to be a runaway drink driver who also does ‘shrooms? Wouldn’t Aidan have some comments about him falling in with a bad crowd or whatever to ease into this development?!

All in all though it is great that AJLT is a thing. I have loved a series that champions these women into their 50s still being successful, glamorous, stylish and sexy. I loved SATC in
my 30s and now at 52 I have loved the update. So glad there’s a S3.

Thinking back, why did Carrie fall into bed with Aiden after his stupid announcement? With a beatific smile? After she's sold her beloved apartment and bought a mansion for him? I would have expected at least a little anger.

I don’t think KC is a brat, from what I’ve read she was treated appallingly on set and essentially iced out by the 3 women. The stuff after her brother died was very telling too! I was pleased she called out SJP’s fakeness

Also the way they wrote Samantha out was very much a dig a KC and very out of character for Samantha. They did Kim dirty!

I’m going to have to watch it again today as was watching through tired eyes at midnight .
Meant to say I think it was good we got to see more of Aiden’s body rather than just the women of late.
The passing on of the apartment to Lissette I guess is symbolic and a nod to a new ‘it’ girl living there. The bra scene was a bit of a nod to this but so unlikely.
Yes the apartment has got 50% bigger and I don’t believe Carrie wouldn’t have refitted the kitchen by now.
