The backstory was bad enough when Evelyn was introduced, it is being dug up again for Cassie but I could not face any more of this twaddle about babies being left at police stations, mothers disappearing to South Africa pretending to be dead, Evelyn lying to Tyrone to 'protect' her overgrown baby of a grandson and a load more crap that I do not even get.

Re. to Roy's Rolls and hygiene. He has been serving food in the same greasy looking cardigan and pinny for years. Also I can remember Nina serving food wearing black lace gloves in her Goth period.She never seemed to take them off.

It is strange though that Roy's character has changed so much, when he was introduced he was quite a sinister person almost a predator type

Eileen now lives in the same house that Elsie lived in. It’s little things like that that make Corrie great. Shame about some of the atrociously stupid story lines.

I have a vague recollection of Roy stalking Diedre when they rented rooms in the same place. I might have got that a bit wrong though.

OMG I just watched the first episode of Corrie ! Amazing!. Yes times move on and a few decades has changed not only the world but your average residential street. Sadly the current Corrie is now just one big joke. Not what the original writers wanted at all. 😥

I'm still confused by Cassie and Tyrones 'other' mum (the one played by Margi Clarke. ) So Tyrone is Cassies son, but ?Evelyn left him at the police station....so how did Margi Clarke end up with him? And was Evelyn aware Margi Clatke had him?

All these drugs, Cassie, Damon, Ryan it’s all such a BORE. The script writers have become an only trick pony. I actually don’t really watch it anymore and for years I wouldn’t miss it.
