why is Stephen then looking in the lake for a body that’s been found under a ton of rubble?

Leo (Jennys boyf) was buried at the building site.

His dad, Teddy, is in the roof box in the canal.

Evil Stephen killed them both.

Leo was Jenny’s boyfriend. He toppled off the factory fire escape during a fight with Stephen and landed in the large bin. Stephen moved his body from there in the factory van and buried him.

Stephen also killed Leo’s dad Ted. He hit him over the head with a hole punch in the factory office. He took the body for a ride in Audrey’s roof box and dumped the roof box and body in the canal.

I do hope that Birdie Song ringtone doesn't lead to Tim being dispatched with a stapler. Change it back, Timothy.

Maybe that's special for when Rosie calls. She has been forgotten for about 5 years.

Please let this dreadful Stephen storyline be over quickly. By the end of the week if possible.

That's exactly what I did.

Tim needs change his ringtone, Stephen has ears like a bats radar, he seems to be able to zone in whispered conversations 20 feet away. He’s going to hear that ringtone through the pubs wall and recognise it.
Did anyone notice super dick Craig look to his silent partner for approval last night? Silent Dick nodded or gestured yes so I reckon he’s the senior dick shadowing Craig.

I love Dee Dee as much as the next person. She's gorgeous and fab. But I'm not getting the wardrobe love ... sorry! 😬

I think Craig is ideally set up for a spin-off detective series.

So the whole Tim and Steve ringtone nonsense was to hi-light to the viewers the Tims phone going off while snooping on Steve incident. Because the writers feel the audience are idiots!

Sometimes I think i must be an idiot for watching. So bad its good vibe though.

I thought the Tim/Steve exchange was quite amusing. I must be easily-pleased!

Probably more to emphasise that Tim has a distinctive ringtone, which means his phone is now bound to go off in the pub and Stephen will recognise it and be immediately on to him...because it won't occur to Tim-nice-but-dim to change it!

Ryan reminds me of Liam back in 2007 and Daisy reminds me of Carla. Love Ryan and Daisy, please get them together. Wasn't sure at first as I always thought Alya was the only one for him but after the acid attack, seeing Ryan and Daisy together feels more intense

I did like Liam, but find him irritating now.Think I'd prefer Daisy staying with Daniel, but they aren't the most convincing couple.

Yes, but there still are not as many as in the Classic episodes, where most Rovers scenes have a constant turnover of people going in and out of the door, and the main characters sometimes have to squeeze past the extras to get to the bar! There's also a buzz of background conversation, which isn't there now. Roy's cafe was also always full.
