My favourite show, I see it’s back on Monday on W, it’s going to be very strange watching this series knowing Jock has passed away. I really liked him.

I'm sure I've seen a contestant win. Can't say who exactly or when...

I've just caught up and couldn't agree more. So sad watching Jock. Lovely to see Poh, Matt and Sashi.

Yeah when it was the old judges it was done this early on. But I have noticed there are less contestants this year.

I remember one professional chef was late plating up so the home cool won by default.

I also remember sashi having 2 immunity pins.

I wonder if it is because there are less consultants and then they’ve been wiped out by covid that we're getting people who aren’t that good being put against the chefs?

My dh was upset Robbie left and he's not normally invested in masterchef.

I'm really enjoying this season. Cooking by the contestants doesn't seem to be as 'cheffy' as previous seasons. That's my language for 'i could actually attempt that! ' 😁
Was sad Antonio went, I think Declan, Melissa, Kath are coming to the end of what they can manage now, anyone of them to go home next. Hoping it's Kath!

Kath is on borrowed time, she was rubbish in the Chinese restaurant task and was out-of her depth in the relay.

@coolmum123 agree this season is a lot more homestyle and less poncy froth, fronds and foam.
I did wonder if it was because how popular Poh and Julie were when they returned on the last 2 seasons.
And maybe it's easier to flog cookbooks and TV series for things people can actually cook, during COL crisis etc.

Where are people watching it I can't find it. Will be really sad knowing what happened to jock after. Have they said who will replace him?

Didn't you think that Jamie Oliver looked totally scruffy? I was a bit surprised. But then I saw something today about his new book and whisky he looks happy I don't think he looks well.

They cut Kath and Rue, I don’t think they’ve been too bad cutting this series, so annoying

I want Declan to win, he's lovely. I can't stand any bloke who wears a stupid hat back-to-front. I'm not sure who else I like, maybe Malissa?

My DD 2 watches this with us and said that he reminds her of one of the Mario brothers. 😳

I’m not keen on Malissa, I really like Declan (do it for Robbie!), Brent, Ralph and Rue. Can’t decide if I like Adi, but my 5yo is a fan, she also likes Kath, she’s a Julie Goodwin fan so think she has a type 😁
