I really do want Jess to win. I can’t bring myself to ever vote for Sammy though, she will lose out because of him.

I don’t really rate Whitney and Lochlan either, although I do/did love Whit. Mitch is a complete weirdo, Zach and Molly are so incredibly dull, love Scott but not Abi…I think Ty and Ella might be my winners. Didn’t ever see myself saying that.

Def producer strategy to name favourite couple so behaviour afterwards can be framed as smug/cocky/confident.

Whitney is annoying though. Always thought her comments are unnecessary and that if shoe was on the other foot she’d be fuming.

Don’t get the love for Jess she has played it safe constantly sticking with Sammy and putting up with his crap as she’s had no other real options. At the start she was very bitchy towards Molly but that has been forgotten.

Molly is so over dramatic and acting everything. Even when she’s supposedly upset with Zac she can barely keep a straight face.

They are all desperate to win. They know now that beyond the winners not many couples or individuals have much success nowadays. Not like early seasons.

Literally don’t want any of them to win. There is no subversive unproblematic couple to support like Kai and Sanam… I would say Scott and Abbi but she’s proved herself to be a bunny boiler with the Mitch and Ella stuff.

Jess is a laugh and i dont think she was a bitch to Molly earlier (Molly however has been pretty catty herself) plus i like the fact Jess is a bit 'bigger' then the other girls and doesnt give a monkeys.

Agree. If Whitney can dish it out, she should be able to graciously take it. Why does she get a free pass to make comments which if others made, she would find offensive.

Well it looks like the producers have given up on it being 'Love' island and it's going to be Last man/woman-standing Island!

Saw a clip on Twitter where Catherine was on some interview saying that it was a thing in the villa that they all called Ella selfish and she used to laugh about it.

Guess Whitney is worried that being called smug will affect how her and Lochan are viewed so she's not reacting particularly well. But currently I'd still vote for her and Lochan.

But IMO Tyrique is the worst for mean comments and he's never called out on them. He says everything with a smile so it sort of gets overlooked plus they all seem to think that the sun shines out of his arse. Apart from Scott who has the measure of him I think!

Sorry to change the subject a little bit but does anyone know how we can watch Love Island USA in the uk? Series 5 has just kicked off and I can’t see it on itvx at the moment 😳

last year I thought it was brilliant - much better and more real than the UK version.

Does this series have more threads than the winter series just gone?

This really surprised me too! The girls were more normal (fake tan streaks and all), they all seemed to actually be in it for mostly the right reasons and it was just generally a bit more real and less over produced than the uk version.

My favorite couples have completely changed places. I like Ella and Ty and Sammy and Jess. Not feeling Whitney and Lochan (its all about her) poor Lochan is just a shadow lovely guy that he is. Also Molly and Zach fake no chance outside the Villa
